Woooo hoooo !! Nice work RC !! You must have the off road package for that chair !! Congratulations my friend !!
Hunting chair is a beater acquired from a trip to a retirement home in a city. It folds. Which is good for tossing behind the seat of the older truck.
My ridged frames don't.
Lots of metal wear and fatigue on the beater. Drawback to being a folder , and those friction points can/do squeak. Cords in rear wheel on at least one side are showing all the way around. Been spun on ice, snow, mud, wet ground , plenty.
Faithful steed though. Has traveled far and served well.
Mobility off road new design offerings in a chair or other device gets too pricy for this kid.
But I've tried things from old golf cart to old three wheeler gas engine Heald Tryke.
90 plus percent of the time , most stuff has no ground clearance and suck in mud and or snow.
Other stuff , you gotta get it to a site you are hunting , including loading and unloading it. Plus storage and maintenance at home.
But , there's stuff if your flush with money...
Each disability is different , but any assistance needed defeats the purpose...
Consider a powered mobility device you yourself puts the chair you are in on on to.
One with stability and ground clearance.
Rocking about to and forth is rough on pressure sores. And in users will weak core strength it can be hard on spines.
Here's one I would be willing to test drive just to get it stuck. Looks rigid in suspension but I've not seen one up close.
Don't drag a deer or goat ect backwards against the hairs direction like in this vid. You'll annoy me. And the poor critter will get too much static cling. L.o.l.
