Afternoon ARC !
How’s the prepping coming along?

Ehhh I always remain about 76.3% prepped ... :)

Nah really its the stupid stuff... like lawn furniture stacking... umbrella securing... crapola securing... like grill and other crap you don't keep prepped.. because you are using it.

Lots of folks out and about at the grocery stores today.
Weather here is starting to get cool. Frost most mornings.
Giving myself a break from news.

Hope everybody is doing ok.

At beginning of season its tree trimming... etc.

Also... ALL garbage you can find in house and around needs to go out to be collected as if service gets interrupted etc.

We were at a rv campground in Colorado summer 2019, and it gets windier there than we thought when we set stuff up.
Winds came later, while we were out. Bummer
Got past it though

Hello Idaho thank you :hello:

Yes ARC how goes things down there with all the and , rain & now darkness.

The main thing is... being ready... period... ready for anything you can think of... as a result of one of our storms...

For example...

IF headed toward you... and gathering strength...

Being ready to get the hell out of the way... and to be posted at a preplanned destination... WITH the things you may need for an extended amount of time.

Being prepped for a storm is serious here... to those who take it serious... and those that take it serious... have a experienced a serious situation before ... HEH

Yep wind can be very nasty business, and quick.

Keeping things like a generator on standby and the ability to go without power for a MIN of a week if not 2.

In a worse case scenario... power is the least of your problems.

YEs... and here we flood very easily in areas... in fact the "floody" areas... flood EVERY time it rains anyway... let alone when a storm runs that gamut.

Even "no name" storms have left those around me with 2 feet of water and fish swimming in living room... no joke.

We get wind here in Idaho, but not like you get with those storms.
Beautiful area to live and play though. Trade offs I guess :icon_scratch:

It seems that things are crawling along slowly in the project world. Things certainly take longer to do in real time than in the theory dept.

< snippity snip snip >

Sometimes...."reality"

totally astonishes

..........."theory". :tongue3:

Good evening folks.

Sorry stepped away for some grub.

PAt is on the OTHER coast... heh.

This thing is coming right for me... I am in Tarpon Springs area.
