Ha Sis, you and I were both thinking of the same word ( persona ) at the same time !

Why thank you :notworthy:
Now I suppose you will be comparing me to Jeff Gordon :laughing7:

Also, I have to score brownie points with you, so you don't repost my Harley pic.

Sis, I have replenished your music library.

Friday, I went back to the big creek to test out my new digging tool before the rain came. The wind was howling and the storm clouds were rolling in, spitting a rain drop here and there. I was frantically trying to get these pieces out of the bank. All of a sudden I heard a train whistle. I stopped. Lifted my head and then shook it. I must be imagining it. Then, I heard it again. Um definitely a train whistle. There is no train near me. Closest one is 15 miles away. There used to be a rail just a couple miles north of me though. Spooky.

I have had a "Train Horn" sound off before. I was working and it was maybe 2: 00 or 2:30 in the morning and the train horn sounded maybe 4 different times and in short bursts. There had been a train track maybe 1/4 mile away but it had been totally removed about a year before. :dontknow:

I'm still digging up bones back there. I keep telling myself that it is deer, which it probably is, but still.

How far can the sound of a train carry?

We have 6 coal trains a day coming through here. I would thing somethings wrong if I didn't hear one starting about 5am. All headed to Birmingham

The woods can be spooky during the evening.
I could easily imagine Bigfoot following me.

WD, I can hear a train with the wind I'd say 4 miles. We had some timber cut a while back between us and the tracks. That makes a difference.

Yeah, At first I just thought maybe I had grown so use to them that I hadn't paid any attention. When I got off work I drove home by going down the street I heard the train on, when I got to the crossing there was no tracks at all. Next day I asked one of our security guards and he said the tracks had been removed a year ago. Still puzzles me as I know what I heard and at four different times the train sounded his horn and it was exactly the same as any train approaching a crossing. Something that just can't be explained away.

Where are you guys seeing RR ?
I am not. :occasion14: :occasion14: :occasion14: :occasion14: :icon_scratch:

OK, never mind and my apology. RR has learned the Stealth technique.

Good morning RR :hello:
