The red light is keeping the brooder at an even 100F now. This is where the new chicks will live for the next month or so until I let them roam the bigger coop. A simple mornings work turned into 3 long days of labour.
But now it's a working entity for the future layers or anything else we might get in. Easy to divide up the sections now.
The 4 roosters and the hen have lots of pen space now to go around now. But the soup pot/roaster is also nearing.

We've been getting our ponds re-done professionally over the past few days, and continuing this week. I don't even recognize the one, it's outstanding! Pics will be uploaded tomorrow.

How's everyone doing?

WD, I saw the Rally pics! That's freakin' awesome! I hope to go their one day when he's close by.

I can’t quote you, Pepperj. That looks good. Nice and cozy.

You’re helmet looks freaking awesome too! Did you paint the eagle? I hope you get a chance to go to a rally. That was probably it for Ohio. IDK how to find out the itinerary.

Ok, so I just read the post on the fireship. I am such a dork! ( there I said it for all of you so you won’t get into trouble for breaking the rules) ahem, nice job taking that foo fooed up helmet and distressing it, Rusty.

Jim, your new chicken coop looks amazing! :occasion14:
Did you reuse parts from another coop, or did you expand on what you already had from your first group of chickens?

Morning AARC and pepperj
