You know... I lost some Rum once...

The ship pitched in high seas and in combination with a big wave... and lightning hitting the mast... and the deck was slick... and ... well... anyway... one can loose some footing in this case...

And one sip of rum slid from the rim of my tankard.

It “was” in my purse. Here’s the problem with rugrats. They have birthdays. And our #1 grandson just turned 17. He’s a great kid. He won’t spend it on rum. He’s one of those kids that you hear started mowing grass around the neighborhood and now, well actually , at 16, had his own lawn care business. So it’s a toss up on what he will spend it on, either expand his business with tools of the trade, or fishing tackle. He also had a lucrative business making and selling beef jerky. Covid ruined that. All his customers were students and teachers. But that’s low start up costs. He can do that again. For a while there, he brought home more $$ than his mom and dad combined! Dad finally got a job but mom closed her barber shop. I’m not sure what the situation is now.

Actually she was telling me to quit a hour before I did.
I decided to move another 80+ tons of clay.
Poor tractor sure has had a hard week.
Contractor will be driving in with his first load at 7am
