I like ginger, actually the bite of ginger. So I use it in many things and the one thing I use it in is when I make maple syrup toffee/candy treats. I also use it when I make up my own energy bars also, I like to have a little kick to them.
In doing a food order with our group/coop/friends I noticed on the list was a new type of ginger cookie.

So why not try it out, because it's all about the snap in the cookie. 5 minutes later after a bite I can still feel the slight glow on the tongue.

My wife is complaining that she can't relax in her reading chair after I go to bed because the mice come out to play in the living room.

Mice are very susceptible to all sorts of diseases.
Being that were not out of the woods yet, and social distancing regulations state wearing a mask.
The question that comes to mind-were the mice-or was your wife wearing a mask?
Or did you even notice while standing up on the chair watching them?
