Morning Bill
Question of the day:
Do you pick Thimble berries?

It should be an interesting appointment after lunch I'm scheduled for a dental cleaning and check up at 2 pm. My wife went last week nobody can use the waiting room. They phone you when you can enter the clinic you have to wear glasses, glove and mask.

Plexiglass screen in from of the reception desk and you step up to a machine that takes your temperature. If you have a fever go back to jail or wherever....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Then you get escorted by the hygenist to the assigned room. She's got the same protocol as far as protective equipment plus gown.

After some questions you have to gargle with peroxide and water for 30 seconds to kill any germs or viruses you may have. Then the hygenist puts on a 2nd mask and flips down a face shield also to do the work.

Mornin all!

Uncle Bill: I had a dental cleaning last week .
Wait in parking lot for the phone call. Mask up to enter ect.
Greeted at office door with an electric forehead thermometer. (Ain't technology great?)
In the hot weather average readings were running a degree high.

Still breathing today. A good thing.

Afternoon anyone I missed this morning

Afternoon everyone, and hello RC.:hello:

RC,

Welcome to the new reality.

It's maybe a good thing in some cases, as baked goods not left in the open, now everything is behind glass. The bakery serves all the products now, so no hands touching the grub. :icon_thumright:

MornAfterEve.

There ... all three goodnessess.

Well I survived the dental outing.....almost felt like visiting the twilight zone with all the protocol involved. Heck the clinic even brought in a hazmat team to install high tech air filtration systems. The air gets completely disinfected every 12 minutes, the dentists attented a 40 hour training session at McGill University on safety protocols to follow.

Got to go pick some yellow beans for supper. Steam then sauteed in some butter and salt and pepper.

Will blanch some swiss chard and finish off in the pan with olive oil and lots of garlic. Baked salmon and some rice to round out the meal.

We eat pretty good for a couple of poor retirees.....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Just around the house and garden berry pick.
Put my yesterdays picking clothes on, made it to the mudroom. Huge tick on the wrist.
Strip, wash, dry.
Note the black legged tick, but the other blood sucking type.
What a person has to endure for a few berries.

Beans from my own seed.
