The Peralta Stones

what i don't understand is why would anyone believe that a jesuit or father kino made these maps? these are not people concerned with worldly goods. go down to san xavior mission south of tucson, you will see much of father kinos work in books and in wall decoration around the church. there is nothing that would suggest kino nor any jesuit had anything to do with the makings of these stones. i do have a question however....is there one thing, just one thing on those maps that everyone can agree on? i have seen theory after theory about each carving, but i have not see one conclusion that all can agree on regarding the clues.

thanks.

SH,

Before making such uninformed posts, you might want to read up on the subject a bit.

thanks mike, i didn't see that thread out there. Good work by the way on all that research. Thanks for enlightning me, i appreciate it.

i am new to all of this like i said before, so bear with me if i ask some questions that may seem rediculous to you. I am reading as much as i can on the subject and all the history that plays into it, there is just so much information, theories and legends that it would take many years to get up to speed with it. anyways, I am not trying to post uninformed statements, just want to find answers like the rest of you. besides these are all questions you have asked at one time or another, or else you would not have the answer to it already.

best regards,

shadowhunter

Well, maybe they are stone. I think someone mentioned something at sometime in some post that they might have been manufactured.

Well,I"ve always suspected that they weren't natural , cause they sure looked man made to me.

S.H.,

Nice glyph! Without researching it, I would guess Mayan rather than Aztec. What did you come up with?

Take care,

Joe

I'm no expert Joe,but I think that you are probably correct.I haven't given it much thought since getting sidetracked by the stone maps. Some of the old timers mentioned "hieroglyphics" in their tales of the mountains, though, and I kinda think that they had already seen lots of petroglyphs everywhere else there was rock as well.Maybe this is what they were talking about.

You might be surprised Jerry.I've been to some of the higher and out of the way places out there.
Every trip,I add a couple more pins to the map. These two pins are close together.

I kind of thought my "challenging" comment might bring you out of your slumber "S.H." :laughing7: Nice pics! :icon_thumleft:

Ya know - funnily, I also thought they were manufactured ... (the 'inscriptions' and 'figures' of course ...)
Hard to see how nature could manage such drawings - not to speak of writing - all on its own.
Nah - definitely manufactured!! *chuckles*

Not really "slumbering"....just a bit busy lately.
But I couldn't resist your obvious hint to "check in".

The little treats that can sometimes be discovered while hiking, and during research give me reason to look at things from a different perspective occasionally. One example, the story of "Tzimin Chac",sent me searching for more information about any southwestern and central american mythology related to the horse and how the original inhabitants reacted to this new animal.

i know just what those numbers mean .. .. :coffee2:

BB,
Sir, no offense, but for someone who seems to have the answers to all the questions you sure do have a whole lot of nothing to show from it. By no means am I trying to be rude, but looking over the many many months of this thread the only conclusion I have come to about you is you have nothing to offer a real seeker except entertainment. I would not believe you about you theory even if you told it to me. You have proven nothing of your findings. So angain I pose the same question to anyone else, does anyone have a theory on those numbers?
[/quote]

.....lol what would exspect .. me to tell you what they mean ..? use your brains and figger it out for your self ..

its like everyt time i see Joe tell us a bout the dagger pointing north . or real de telling me how he is useing those 3 digit numbers for distence messurements or ORo ask me question after question .. just to get a little step at a time to try to under stand why i do what i do,,

if you wonderd what would really happen if some did find it ... now you know !

i dont have to prove anything to anyone .. you dont want me to post or reply .. i can walk away .. latter

Blindbowman - I was only asking you questions to try to get you to open up a bit and explain some of your theories. You have something to say, I can't "force" you to tell us what you have to say so asking questions was the only route open. I guess that when you are ready to open up and tell us the whole thing, you will.

dose it really matter .you said you would not believe me anyway ..

I have told you what I need to see to become a believer, and it is not personal just that so many have made the same claim, the only way I know of that can prove this scientifically is that ore. That doesn't mean you can't tell us all what you have found, what your research has turned up etc. If you are not comfortable telling it though, I am not going to push you.

Let me ask you one question - do you think that all 100+ of the different people whom have claimed to have found the LDM, actually found it? Thank you in advance,
Roy

Kidding S.H. – Very Cool! _ Between Horses and ATVs I’m kind of done with them both. I have broken my collar bone, bones in my arm, separated my shoulder – still detached, ribs and so on. I only fly if I can keep one leg on the ground.

Still love horses, and would be very interested in this subject of yours. Evening, and just is wrong with a lovely, sexy, big expressive brown eyed Mule? Those beautiful long velvety ears, and that softly rounded tummy which you can never keep the cinch tightened up on? so you have to reset it each time before going up or down hills, or else, but so what?.

Well, if I could find a couple of mules that can get along fine with dogs, and can reproduce, priced no higher than a horse of the same age, size and training, I have no objections. ;D

As beautiful and intelligent as Arabians are - you were safer on the draft horse Chester. They don't call them 'gentle giants' for nothing. As for the ATVs, don't ask - I have a very low opinion of them and think them more dangerous than they are worth. At least if a horse (or mule) were to fall down with you, it will do its best to get back up OFF you, that ATV will set there until you are dead.

Back to the Stones, of course! :read2:
