Had a great suprise last night when Bill,Cyndi ,and Bryan all walked into my workplace...they were heading home and decided to stop..how wonderful was that! Mariah asked me this morning if we could run to Caldwell again before winter just to dig that creek again....what do you say Burdie?

Greg..I found out yesterday that I can hunt two century old farms near Lebanon..one was a civil war camp just prior to the Wilson Creek battle and has soldiers buried there...I even asked if I could bring a you along and they said ..ok...if I made you behave..LOL...so will get to you the details if you are interested ...

I cannot believe the amount of people who said this was the best hunt ever...digging that creek bed was a blast even if all you claim jumpers shanghaied my spot..next year I am definitely planting flags...was thinking about a electric fence..but some of you seemed to be able to figure those out already...namely TC and RJGMC...LOL

One of the funny things I heard was when someone asked Mastereagle if he was going to hunt the creek and he said NO..that's not my thing...and the next day he was down there digging with the rest of us fools......lol...and was pulling out great stuff...

I really enjoyed digging with Matthew..what an amazing,well mannered young man who is already giving us oldtimers some stiff competition...and with Jacob, who is as friendly and helpful as his grandpa Stoney was....
Thank you to everyone for making this my best birthday party ever...the generosity of so many who shared with the girls and I this weekend is overwhelming..and we hope you all know how much we appreciate all of you.

Ah man? That creek is a 7 1/2 hour drive from me.......maybe I can fly there Does Caldwell airport accept charter jets?? Maybe I can beat Gypsy to it!

Well I have the backhoe and dump truck parked at the site and ready to dig. Just need to set up my sifter for my final step. Oh I started Burdie's creek retrieval company and your all partners. The bills for the truck, backhoe, and sifter will be forward to your addresses. I will let you know if I find anything.

We finally got back and I gotta say...wish it was already time to be back there! It was incredible getting to see everyone again! I can't say how happy we are that Burdie is going to do another hunt, what an awesome host he is! Miss Vickie is the cream of the crop as well! Sure love you guys!

Soaked the token over night in Olive oil and then hit it with a very soft brass bristle brush I have here. The stuff on it crumbled and flaked off. I don't think I will clean it any further. It is pretty cool the way it is. I think the back says something like John Deere Bringing the Steel Plow to the World.

3 silvers 39, 56, 57 and three wheats. Two 50s and a 58. And also my first ever Susan B Anthony dollar coin!!
