Yep people do tend to see what they wish to see when looking at parts of things through their dreams..

What gets me is the 'alleged' 90 foot stone translated into English this document is meant to be French... So how are they related to the same thing? Surely no one would give directions to the treasure in two different languages....

That's because this is LeVasseur's Treasure Map and Cipher.....these are fabricated stories around the actual map that LeVasseur made as opposed to a cipher that the McInnis boys made.....

I have a pretty good idea whats going on here....this whole series is a fraud

The water is not the water table. Even when they Laginas hit chappels shaft this was at in excess of 140 feet. It must of been dry for him to dig a mining shaft to that depth. The water flooded when he breached the water source (not water table) Dunfeild pit flooded when he breached the water source not water table. Probably broke into Chappels flooded shaft at 140 feet and flooded his hole.

This was true for all the early attempts to dig beside the shaft. They were dry well below 100ft until the breached the water source.

My view now is in support of soil liquidifaction as outlined in J.Steels book and explained in that thread.

As explained in this article The Blockhouse Blog - The Oak Island Compendium Does science support a man-made flood tunnel on Oak Island? the water at 100 feet should not be there..

There is water everywhere now because of Dunfeild big hole breaching whatever the water source was.

Yep.. I think Marty is well and truly over the whole thing. He is a rich man and is probably quite sick of giving up his summers on OI rather then Thailand...

Rick however will be the next Dan and Fred... He will still be digging that ten foot deeper to find the treasure when he is old and Grey. I can see him buying Freds place and moving in..

yep... The last shaft they dug 1 person got metal hits the other did not. So they just said 'OK nothing there lets dig another hole'... Maybee the will come back to this..

But they made a big deal over - 'silver pellet' from tailings (never heard of again), Railway spike (never heard of again), Plank from swamp (never heard of again), tile with templer X (Never heard of again), chicken bone (never heard of again)..

These are just the ones that spring to mind.

They treat the audience pretty bad. The "helpful" man that tells us everything we have forgotten in the add break and assumes every episode is the first anyone has ever watched so retells everything that has happened in the last four seasons... Never tells us anything of much use..

Very frustrating..

Agreed it's brutal how they pull this stuff out of the mud...and then nothing. No follow up. Straight down the memory hole, and then cut to the same old footage of the guys from the Ren-Faire walking in the woods.

This recent episode was worse than the previous one. I'm sure if anything of value is ever found it will be n the news before we see it on the "History" Channel

By the looks of the wood brought up from the T1 hole, it appears they have dated the 3 samples to around 1630 - 1700... Roughly, can't remember the exact dates.
They had 3 samples on the table from next weeks sneak peek and Craig was very suspenseful in delivering the info on the dating.
They had a square block, a weathered beam and a round black log around 3".
They all had a pretty big grin as they now think they have found "The Chapel Vault" Man, the excitement is killing me!!!!

Golden chalice, tons of gold, Mayan records, etc... Pretty impressive list of goodies hidden in the shoe hole he seems to think is there. Well, he did have that shoe he found when digging so that pretty much is all the proof we need.
A tunnel from OI to LOL island... could this be? It is hard to believe someone back in 1600 dug all those flood tunnels and the money pit but apparently they were bored and still had some daylight left so they dug a tunnel over to LOL island. I don't remember what Indy Feldmans island was called so I am gonna call it LOL island!

I think people may not realize just what having cross cultural contact with the Middle East did for the Templars in terms of their knowledge, particularly in the field of navigation. Question is, was any of this stuff passed on to the Knights of Christ and into the hands of the Portuguese explorers? I confess to being hopeful that the answer is yes. Can't help it!

He said the island was man made right? Do you remember how deep his pilot holes were? I am thinking he said 160' or so, right? I could be wrong as I just don't remember. He did seem awful cocky but then again, everyone they show on the TV show is 100% their theory is correct and will bring treasure of unmatched proportion. I just don't see it but they sure are funny to watch.

Certainly they did, the Arabs invented the cross staff used for finding latitudes and were far ahead of Europe in other means of navigation. The Templar's fought against them, laid in their prisons, kept them in their own prisons and traded with them for 200 years. And a lot of this information found its way to the Knights of Christ!

They showed Dan using those rods in like S2 or S3. They are neat in theory but some believe they are fake. Not sure what I think but would be interested in checking out someone doing it first hand.
If they were gonna do anything on his lil island, they wouldn't be able to use really heavy machinery without constructing another causeway to it and that could eat up a lot of Marty's money. Rick - Come on lil bro... we are this close to finding out the mystery. A couple million more and we will have answers. Marty - I think I know who the 7th person to die is gonna be!!!!
