Ok got me a new detector for the beaches here in north Texas, the fisher f5. I know that there are better machines for beach hunting but thats not all I do. Anyway, this was the first trip out with the new detector. I hit the beach running, right off the trail from the camp ground and ballanced the machine, which was easy. With in the first five minutes "BEEP" i had a 10k mans ring in the goodie bag. I searched maybe another twenty minutes, when "BEEP" womans weding band. I spent the rest of the morning searching the area around were I had found the rings, found some modern clad, and one wheat pennie. All in all, a very good day for the f5 and I am impressed so far with the machine.

Nice finds you got there. Just about all of Texas is a beach now, minus the water of course!
