even the last part where he lands unharmed. LOL
Actually a few people have fallen thousands of feet and lived.
My nephew came back from Saipan for a visit this summer and he had a Phillipine lady with him.
His parents came from Alabama also.
We are white as you can get. But we don't care about color. She is pretty cool.
I was born and raised in Rocky Ford Colorado. On our block we were one of the few white families. My best friends were Mexicans. Kids don't think about that stuff. There was a black kid came to school for a little while and him and me were starting to be friends but one day they abruptly moved on.
So I come to Missouri when I was about thirteen. One day my dad and I were in a gas station\ store. Grownups shooting the breeze. This old guy says, "I heard there's a family of n------ moving here. We need them like a nest of rattlesnakes!"
I was actually stunned. Not mad-just discombobulated. Never heard anything like that. The other folks looked uncomfortable but someone changed the subject. Honestly there may have been someone present who silently agreed. There is still that attitude to be found.
There might be one black family in this area. Got Mexicans and Laotians. Few Vietnamese.
I have honestly had contact with 3-4 blacks in my life.
They are just not here lol. One guy was a truck driver.
I went out on the dock on break from sorting apples and we just talked about working.
Had a good buddy at my last job. We used to joke around a lot. He had a white wife and a kid.
This area is more tolerant than people think.
I think the media is hurting blacks and has been for years. The blacks who get attention are rappers, pop singers, foul-mouthed comedians and sports figures. Or gang types as well as professional victims. No ordinary people like I knew.
In areas where there are few blacks it is easy to see why some might have a negative view of blacks. They only see the bad.
On the other side too many blacks are led to believe everything is stacked against them.
