Yeah, not a big fan of sharks, if the clintons and Obama could be thrown in the ocean and all the sharks in the world ate on them and died from corrupt accute dem poisoning, that would be my new fourth of July and Easter. Hell I bet even the Vatican would make a medallion depicting the scene to sell in place of the cross. We know how they are with their profits and bling.

Well done on putting those BSers in their place.

A funny story along the same lines...at some point at work they put me on some special committee to do some project work.

The meeting was scheduled first thing in the morning in Toronto so I had to get up about 4 a.m. to catch the first flight out of Montreal.
I scramble through the airport grab a cab and arrive at the hotel meeting room in plenty of time. The person in charge of the meeting is from a hotshot consulting firm we hired by the name of McKensey and Co well he strolls in about 1 and 1/2 hours late stating that the flight in from Pittsburg was delayed and thanks to that we were going to have to work late to make up for lost time.

Well keep in mind he had about 12 or 15 of us cooling our heels waiting for him he always had the option of coming in the night before if he thought he'd have a tough time making it on time. Since this guy was a Harvard grad he was as you'd expect a prima donna type.
Being a shy type....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: My response was I've booked my return flight to Montreal for the end of the day; the reason we're running late is because of you and furthermore last time I checked our company is paying our salaries and your consulting fees so you're the one who's going to be working late not us....:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:

I have a great one for you guys; just finishing up my rounds here in Europe. This morning I show up at 0600 hours to the meeting. I drove up from Italy last night to Salzburg for this meeting. Keep in mind I do not this money, these meetings are to pitch for a government grant, if it sounds like the US Gov could get behind it then it will move forward to the next stage.

Zero Six, here at the hotel in the conference room, I am not even checked in yet, but have everything in the conference room set up. 15 minutes go by and I head to the breakfast area to get me a glass of orange juice. Two fellas sitting in there talking about what a great night they had, clearly they did.

I head back and wait; 0715 rolls around and I get a phone call, they said they where stuck in traffic, but are parking now and will see me soon.

Man that seems odd, you been stuck in traffic since before our meeting started and you wait to tell me about when you get to the parking lot. & fellas walk in moments later from this think tank seeking government grants. The one goes on and on about traffic and how bad it always is in Austria. Odd, all my years in Europe I could always count on the exact opposite right up until you get to the German border.

Now when I got here this morning, I asked the front desk if these people arrived, hotel said yes, last night, that the hotel bus picked the up from the airport. Who stays at a hotel in the city they live in. I mean the address on the grant application says that 3 of these people live here.

So I point at one of the fellas I saw having breakfast this morning, I told him go, you start. The one fella BSing me the entire time, says he is actually taking point on this. I told him no your not, he is, you want the money, then I want to know that when called, no matter who picks up the phone we can have answers now.

This guy is clearly not prepared; I tell them all that I am not in the mood for this. That you where very late, but had people sitting down eating this morning speaking about their great evening, you are BSing me when I know for fact you flew in last night and had the hotel pick you up. You are doing all the talking because your full crap the most.

The man says. well thats OK, we will see you this afternoon. Now I am thinking heck yeah man, this is more my style, threaten me and I will take my time pulling you apart. So I asked with a smile, how is that. He said our company has two more grant meetings with you this afternoon. I said no that is for another company. He says yes but they represent that company. I told him but that is only legal inside the US and Canada for these types of grants. He says well where are not in the US so US law does not apply. I tell him, no worries, I will contact the companies and let them know that I do not have time to do business with drunk foolish liars, and since you are talking to me right now about that it is business pertaining to them. Good bye.

Called those companies, let them all know, and then turned off my phone. Now I have to sit here and wait until 1000 hours before I can check in.

I really hate excuses; how hard is it to tell me, dude we screwed up and got wasted. I would have not paid so much mind to details then. I am doing this crap as a favour, for free, infact, I can not think of one person on appointment right now who is getting paid. BS me.

But I still have my hopes up that perhaps they will water their little german balls with more booze and try something; likely not, these where girly men.

Later after I get checked in I will let all these other firms know I have to speak with over the next 6 days that if they want to show up like this then do not show up.

Oh, my bad. I mean you dealt with that very professional in front of everyone else, but you could have waited in the parking lot for him.

Quatrovelo; its a velomobile. Bicycle. Very fast.

My sons first wheels about 3 years ago was a Sunrider, he called it his treasure mobile. No drivers permit needed, but far to fast for the cycle lane. Daughters first was a used Quest XS full carbon.

I am waiting to see if they are going to make one with a 26 inch in the rear.
