The little one is a Benji type named Sousuke.
The big one is a Lab\horse mix named Yuki. He has to weigh 150 pounds and when it is cold he gets under the blankets next to me. He always wants to be touching me when I sleep. Probanly cause my brother found him wandering on the supermarket lot and just brought him home to me.

Those are some interesting names. When we first started camping at the lake, we made friends with this couple who had a huge chocolate lab, Hershey. One day they went fishing with MR WD and I stayed back to "baby" sit. I was a tad bit nervous. I was walking him around and told myself, "Dogs sense fear so you need to calm your arse down!" Man, if he would ha decided to take off for a rabbit or well anything, he would have pulled my arm off! But he was a gentle giant. I did see him get excited though. They would buy this big jar of pig ears. They had to dump the whole jar out. He would rook and rook until he found that perfect one that he wanted to eat. They would scoop them all back up into the jar. When Hershey finished eating that perfect one, he would be all up in her face until she dumped the jar out again. It was quite cute!

Tom,

To bad about the internet connection.....sounds like the heli pilot should have had training wheels on his helicopter....:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9:

seems some are attached on the high voltage cables.

After they told me that story, a friend has searched the net the last 2 days for a message but there was nothing to find... yet.

One of my dad's "many" hobbies was sports cars. The MGB was ok, but not real sporty. Now.......... the MGA, on the other hand was sleek and sporty. I grew up around the MGA, MGB, Mercedes Benz 190SL, Datsun 240Z, Datsun 260Z, Datsun 280Z, and Austin Healeys. The Healeys were fast, but I liked the interior better on the Datsuns. That Mercedes 190SL was no slouch either, it got with the program. I can't find any "actual" pictures of them, but here are examples of what they looked like.

On the Hurricane........Right now it looks like were in luck .Seems, just to our N.East there is a strong high pressure dome that's pushing/forcing the storm further to the south of our location. Time will tell .

RTR, I was watching the forecast. I don't know who all is in NC and SC, but it doesn't look good for them at all. I pray people have heeded the advice and evacuated. You and your wife are in my prayers!

Im trying really hard to set up a meeting with a friend of my bosses. When I met this man we got talking about treasure, and I was flabbergasted when he showed me some pics of what he had. This man is in possession of one of the most iconic pieces of 1715 treasure ever recovered. He has the gold dragon whistle and chain that was recovered by rex stocker !!! This piece was sold at auction many years ago and it has never been seen again. Im hopeing to go and see and photograph it for positive ID. the owner has no idea what he has and not a lot of interest in it. He bought the piece to help a friend that needed the money. The piece has been locked in a vault for many years. Im hopeing to make a positive id and maybe get him to donate the piece to a museum, or put it up for auction. This could be a pretty big deal if this is really the dragon whistle !! This piece could go for huge money if it goes to auction......perhaps 10 times what he paid for it. So thats what ive been doing the last couple days......im really trying to make this happen and will push again for a meeting today at work. Might go up tomorrow I hope.
