Apparently im the only one who didnt know the trip was postponed till tomorrow !! Ive been down on the boat waiting with capt Dennis all morning. Boss didnt call anyone to let them know hes nnot flying in till tonight !! Well im not the only one capt. Dennis didnt know either !! Standing by to standby. Best day of the summer gliding by. 100 ft visibility, flat calm no wind, glassy conditions, bright sun and 92 degrees. If you work here today you call in sick, or dont come back from lunch. Head for the horizon type day today. Epic diving and fishing conditions. View attachment 1620347

Is that part of the "red tide" algae bloom in those pics?

View attachment 1620482 yup im making some scrapes and signs in trees. Eventually ill bury a cache, its ready !! Problem is I havnt figured out where to bury it ?? Im having fun making marks right now. These marks will lead from gumbo limbo tree to gumbo limbo tree, just as pirates did before me. There is a master key of symbols im using but ill keep it secret for now. Obviously this one means look down. Other symbols lower down will lead to the next set of symbols. This is just the first cache !!!

Bart, that is just too cool what you are doing!!! :notworthy:

Probably the first scripture verse I ever memorized. It was many years later that I learned it was scripture. Lol.

Sargasso sea weed, it has reached epidemic proportions. Right now the beaches are covered from keywest to st augustine. Up to 3 feet deep on some beaches.

WD,

One of my favourites from that era.

Here's another version by Judy Collins and Pete Seeger who wrote it in the 1950's.

Huh. I didn't know it was previously recorded, Bill. Thanks.

Good morning yesterday found three copper pennies and one 1956d wheat

Bill,

here are the bees. You see boxes with a large and smaller folk on the left. The other stuff is only new frames etc.

The boxes are called "german standard size"

On the second pic you see how they got feed for the winter. (an addition to the sugar water) But they also still bring stuff from flowers in our area.
