Well folks... time is running down till landfall... I predict early Wed in the AM... but not in stone... never is...

One thing about hurricanes that is commonly overlooked by the general public is...

NO ONE ... NO how... NO where... with any kind of anything... can predict anything about a hurricane.

Not even close.

Not NOAA ... not GOV... not anyone.

I merely take in all the info they make available to me and spit out a "guess"... just like they do.

My "guess" is as follows...

Stays lower than current track... North by Northwest... and perhaps even pulls an almost play by play of Irene. (no 2 tracks are identically the same).

So police in North Carolina arrested a teen who planned a mass shooting. He had two guns, one an old WWII style ruger, and another pistol...a flintlock.

A. What is that idiot doing planning a mass shooting?
B. What the he!! are you going to do with a flintlock?

But was it a semi automatic flintlock?

"This artillery shell fragment (2 x 1 5/8 inches) was once part of the famous Rosensteel Collection of Gettysburg. This specific relic was identified as having been found near West Confederate Avenue and was part of the relic collection given to the Rosensteels by Ellwood Cullison. Ellwood and John Cullison recovered the relics that they gave to the Rosensteels between 1930 and 1960. The Rosensteel Collection is arguably the most famous collection of Gettysburg relics that has ever existed. John Rosensteel opened his Round Top Museum of Gettysburg artifacts in 1888. The collection, which grew in size as a variety of local collections were acquired (including artifacts found by John Cullison), became the nucleus of the Electric Map Museum collection and ultimately the Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center collection. Cullison, a Gettysburg resident, hunted many areas of the battlefield (by eyeballing relics first and then with a metal detector in the 1950s) and carefully identified the location of recovery. All of the Cullison items that did not go to the National Park Service were acquired by the Horse Soldier in the 1990s - I acquired this relic from that source. I will include a signed provenance letter."
