Morning

Morning AARC and forum buds.

February the 6th and it's 64 degrees. Going to hit 74 today. That's wild.

tamrock,

Nice looking specimens....many years ago one of my detecting buddies from Australia was posting me his gold finds from the outback.

He was there for about 6 weeks and if memory serves me correctly he was up to 15 or 16ounces of nuggets during that trip.

Unfortunately I probably lost the pictures when I switched computers.
Some time ago I'd stop by this coin shop that also sold metal detectors in Farmington New Mexico. The guy who ran it would close the doors in the fall and spend the winter months detecting nuggets in Australia. He was definitely a man with a plan and he had some beautiful specimens he found down there.

Just a little reference chart in case you think I'm NUTS.:laughing7::coffee2:???:occasion14: 9554c7eac2b11297c77bae022eb7e3af.webp More java please.:coffee2:

Folks,

An interesting article on using scrap plastic to make plastic wood.

Yeah, recycling has become a whole new field of study and industry these days and who knows what else will come out of it.

This platinum mine in Montana I do some business with also recovers tens of thousands of ounces of platinum from catalytic converters. https://www.google.com/amp/s/billin...8f93ba50-be1e-11df-a291-001cc4c002e0.amp.html

Dang your close. It's the beam from my miners caplamp pointed towards the sky on this cold misty fog morning with the photo rotated sideways. Cris you only knew that, because you and I are one in the same. A couple of goof-offs.:tongue3:
