tamrock,

Nice looking specimens....many years ago one of my detecting buddies from Australia was posting me his gold finds from the outback.

He was there for about 6 weeks and if memory serves me correctly he was up to 15 or 16ounces of nuggets during that trip.

Unfortunately I probably lost the pictures when I switched computers.

That they are. I saw this on LinkedIn last week or two, as I'm just about connected with dang near everyone in the mining biz from here to Canada, South Africa and some in South America. They didn't say where they hit it and what size they are, but I have a hunch it's from northern California.

Nice looking work Black Bart, that looks like a heck of a lot fun for something mist would call work.

How are you milling your logs? I got mountains of wormy Ash around my place. Most of it over 30" diameter. The mill won't take em cause they got hardware and fence in em. I been thinking of making picnic tables but I'd have to split planks off with wedges.

Hey Black Bart!

You will enjoy this!-

I do it the old fashioned way too, hand cut tenons and chisel cut mortise. It's not faster just better. I can see what I'm doing while I'm doing it! Besides, it ain't work. It is therapy!

No Badgers around just these gulls that came out of nowhere and scoffed up everything..

The coyote's around here had goose for dinner night before last. Bella found a leg bone with nothing left, but a little flesh, but I made her spit it out. The geese around here try to make the seagulls to go back to the dump where they belong.

Who knows if the 8000 or so years of the copper age, bronze age, iron age, machine age, steel age, steam age, jet age, atomic age, space age and all this seemingly endless age of technology will out last the 70'000 +/- years the stone age lasted. :dontknow:

Does such idiots real exists???
