I've owned a 1964 and a 1965. One I bought from a farmer in Iowa in maybe in1978? It was pretty sun bleached, but it only had 12k miles on it and the farmer said it pretty much spent it's whole life going here and there on the farm. I drove it back to Leadville Colorado at 58 to 60 mpr on I80 and that slant 4 ran like a sewing machine all the way with tires like these on it. A lot of the suspension was identical to the early Willy's Jeep's.

This is not mine but my first vehicle was one of these.
1957 Ford F100. Gave a hundred bucks for it. He wanted 125.00.
The hood alone weighed more than most modern cars :D

That they are. I saw this on LinkedIn last week or two, as I'm just about connected with dang near everyone in the mining biz from here to Canada, South Africa and some in South America. They didn't say where they hit it and what size they are, but I have a hunch it's from northern California.
