Here is another treasure story to add to the list..

What if.... The Laginas did find treasure but did not want to give it to the Government so have hidden it to sell later... They would not be the first treasure seekers to try to cheat their partners/government of their share of the treasure.. In the case of Oak Island the Government gets pretty much everything if they do find treasure.. About al they would be allowed to keep is coins and ingots... Anything the Government classes as an artifact belongs to them... So maybe they did find something of great value......

I wouldn't tell anyone about any huge treasures I have found... and I have found a few.
I show the cool coins and rings I have found but the @$@%@$ and $#*@&*^I found, I will NEVER show ANYONE!

It would be pretty easy to cap one of the caissons if it contained something... because we really don't know the whole story of what they dug into down hole.
We know what we see on camera and that's about all. .. They could sit on it for many years and no one would know or suspect . One curious thought though ... why are the caissons still sticking out of the ground with lids and locks on them if they were holes that contain nothing? They could have back filled them easily with the spoils from the other holes after they searched the spoils. Odd if you ask me ..

The next series... So they can send that diver down them again. To stir up the mud and not be able to see anything. That should be able to be spun into three episodes....

My guess is they plan to just leave them there for any future searchers to use and or know for sure area has been drilled. Would be a big help now if all the other places dug had not been refilled everytime somone new came in to search... just leave it exposed and let the next group go from there.

Just a thought, no one does a lot of work for no reason, next, if you buried millions , would you put a note above it saying how deep and how much was there? Unless You have dementia I doubt it , my thought it’s a decoy. Next. Lots of people needed, sailors , soldiers The people back in Europe, you think they forgot about it? I don’t think they would forget it. Are you aware of report of husband that stole a lot of treasure and ran off?relative of discoverers, how a poor ex slave ended up rich in a short time?no, something was there , but I don’t think it was abandoned, to many knew.also, why is it called oak island , there is a rare photo taken in early 30s I think, shows 4 or 5 of the original oak trees. Nothing like North American oaks, very tall very straight before canopy, 80 foot or so , these are oaks from med. sea , I invite you to look that fact up. That’s the most convincing to me.
