Oak Island the Strange, the Bizarre, and Maybe the "Truth!

ECS, There is no factual evidence you would except as proof of anything...
So far, you have not provided any factual evidence beyond the claims of Petter Amundsen, Phillip Smith, Diana Jean Muir, and Zena Halpern, which have not proven to be true at all, and are not accepted as legitimate by any professional historians or organizations.
I accept real researched documented evidence, not haphazard baseless nonsense like your claiming that Columbus's wife, Dona Felipa Moniz Perestrelo of Italian and Portuguese descent was a great great + granddaughter of Scottish Henry Sinclair as "proof" that Columbus used Templar maps for his voyage of discovery.
...and that is just one on many questionable statements that you have posted as "fact".

Tnmountains , It is not because I have not tried to recover treasure? I have tried to help "Rebel Gold" when it was filming all over Virginia, Georgia and other places. They are always high conceited and will not listen. I have contacted other shows to help them dig up treasure just like, "The Curse of the Civil War Gold" They have their own ideas and their ideas are faulty at best. Research proves no treasure especially a large treasure was traveling with President Jefferson Davis and his escort. Again they went to the Chenault Plantation where they believe the robbery occurred of the Virginia Bank Gold. It never happened at that plantation. I have been there and in that area several times. There were four robberies in and around Washington Georgia and one about ten miles south of Abbeville, S.C. but none at the John Chennault Plantation. I have offered to give hundreds of tons of gold to the United States Government, enough to pay off the National Debt, for a one million dollar finder's fee. No dice. I have did my work and research. I have found scores of treasure. I have not the funds to go after them nor the time. I have offered to give them to others to recover but you know what they say about all those people hollering "WOLF" I just can not be taken seriously. I can prove and back up everything I claim and say on these forums. But to just post everything here would be ludicrous.

If what you say is true then at some point someone would have to take you seriously. I think we all have been contacted by reality shows at one point or another. Last thing I want to do is find a fortune as the world watches and me not have read the fine print. I only know one person who actually made money from treasure and he invested with M. Fisher before they hit the motherland. He got a million bucks of treasure and turned around and donated it for write offs. He did not need the money he was in it for the risk and adventure. This thread is Oak Island. I think at this point it is more tv show then treasure.
But that being said I wish everyone who seeks treasure success including myself! Lol We are all pirates at heart right?

Hi Well a few years ago I spent time in large farm house which was built by Richard Oates . Does this give me any right to make up stories and fabricate rubbish about The Welcome Stranger Nugget ? If and when I start to see a hand written account with a name on a document over 130 years old I might believe . I posted one on this forum book , grave land tax notice. Grave number .Its not hard . Charles Banks gold finder .TP

The wife of Christopher Columbus was Dona Felipa Perestrello e Moruz. She was a grand-daughter-on her mother's side-of Gil Moniz a Knight of Christ, and daughter of the Genoese explorer Bartolomero Perestrello, also a Knight of Christ.

Bartolomero Perestrello also had a son. This son, also called Bartolemeo Perestrello, married Guimar Teixera, the aunt of Tristao vaz Teixeira, who was the first husband of Catrina vax de Lordelo. Catrina latter married John Drummond, son of Elizabeth Sinclair, a daughter of Henry Sinclair.

As for the map Christopher Columbus used was the 1491 Martellus Map and it had been copied from all known maps of the time. A complete map of the Whole World in 1491? Columbus knew he was not going to fall off the edge of the Earth. He knew there was land where he was headed. Another map printed in 1507 by Waldseemuller had all of the coast line of South America, the Islands in the Caribbean and the coastline of North America and Nova Scotia. How in 15 years did they get all of this information before it had ever been explored. The reason being the Knight's Templar's Maps and the Antonio Zeno Maps. At least you posted this information and link on the perfect thread of "Maybe" the "Truth".
The genealogy on the link you posted comes from the COMMENTS section at the bottom, and was written by "Tabbitha" , no credentials, claiming a family connection-That is NOT a valid confirmation NOR solid research.
It was the brother of Dona Felipa Moniz Perestrelo who married the aunt of Catrina Vax, the widow Texiera.
Sir John Drummond, 12th of Lennox and Elizabeth Sinclair son, John Escorcio Drummond married Catarina Vax de Lordelo, they had one daughter, Catarina Escorcio who married Pedro Texiera, and they had one daughter, Isabel Barrandas.
There exists NO direct bloodline of Columbus's wife to Henry Sinclair.

The Henricus Martellus German us map was NOT a "complete map of the Whole World in 1491, but a map of the known world at that time.
Based on earlier maps, including a 1485 map by Lisbon cartographer and mapmaker Bartolomeo Columbus.
The continent on the west side of this map, is AFRICA, not the Americas, and it shows a speculated possible shorter route from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean to the Orient instead of sailing around the Horn of Africa.
The only connection to the Zeno map or the Templars exists only in the imagination of those that write pseudo history and those that accept it is fact.

Congratulations to....The Treasure of Oak Island!

257 Years and Still "Not" Disturbed!

If you are at Oak Island...September 23rd...at...12.01am.....The start of the Fall Equinox...Look Up...The weather there is showing clear...And...you should be able to make out the Freemason's Celestial Stars that make up their Terrestrial Map on Oak Island.

The only time of the year that these Stars align to form this Map.

OK, I’ll bite....what makes these constellations Masonic?

These Freemasons had the knowledge to use Stars for Maps!

The (Untold) Story of The Oak Island Money Pit

The Oak Island Money Pit was constructed by the “Powers That Be” who were and still to this day, The Secret Force that controls the course of mankind on earth.

This organization is known as - The Freemasons.

The Story of The Oak Island Money Pit begins in the 1760’s

It was conceived by a number of Britains’ high ranking Naval Officers, who were Masonic Degree Members of the Freemasons and belonging to the Premier Grand Lodge of England.

These members were:

Washington Shirley, 5[SUP]th[/SUP] Earl Ferrers — Vice Admiral - Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge — Premier Grand Lodge of England

George Anson, Baron Anson — Admiral of the Fleet

George Keppel, 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] Earl of Albemarle - Commander-In-Chief

Augustus Keppel, 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Viscount Keppel — Rear Admiral — Brother to George Keppel

William Keppel — Lieutenant-General — Brother to George Keppel

George Pocock — Admiral — Commander of the Invasion of Havana

and

Benjamin Franklin — First Grand Master of Pennsylvania who met in 1760 with the Grand Master of England to discuss their plan.

These Masons were members of the Whig Party opposed to the next successor to the throne, the unstable King George III.

Their plot originated after King George III’s continued destruction of their Whig’s political power and his redirection of this power to the Tory Party.

These Freemason feared for the continuance of their organization during the Seven Years’ War, with the imminent invasion of England by the joint forces of France and Spain.

Spain outlawed all forms of secret organizations, including the Freemasons.

The Masons planned redirecting all their fortunes to the “New World” (North America), to enable the transfer of the Masonic organization, if and when these fears materialized.

Their military plan entailed the capture of Havana in 1762.

Havana’s Morro Castle and the Jesuit's Cathedral were the Fort Knox of Spain, holding the plunder of South and Central America’s treasure prior to its shipping to Spain.

The invasion of Havana was under the command of George Keppel, with Admiral George Pocock and Keppel’s two brothers Augustus and William Keppel, commanding the actual attack.

They were successful with the capture of Havana and Fort Morro and its unprecedented amount of treasure.

With the aid of the Jesuits they captured the Jesuit`s Cathedral`s mass fortune transferred there from the Americas.

They also captured a number of the Spanish Fleet, which were needed to accomplish their plan.

Accordingly, Admiral Pocock returned to England with the main English fleet carrying a portion of the treasure, while Augustus and William Keppel along with their crew and Masonic engineers all sworn to secrecy, manned the Spanish Galleons and the British Man of War Vessels.

This treasure was diverted to a small island off the coast of New England and Nova Scotia, now called Oak Island.

At Oak Island, the treasure was buried based on the Masonic “Royal Arch” (Enoch’s Temple) doctrine, consisting of nine arches going down nine levels by way of the main shaft (The Money Pit) which was then dug further down to the bedrock.

From the ninth level another circular tunnel was constructed which ran back up to a point above the known water level, roughly 20 feet underground and then towards the North/West end of the island.

This tunnel stopped roughly 50 feet out under the ocean where an enormous cavern was built to hold the treasure.

The treasure was carted down the main shaft and placed up into this cavern.

To conceal their plot they had the Spanish ships and some of the British ships dismantled with all the wooden parts not used in the construction of the shaft, tunnels, and cavern, burnt and all the metal parts, canons, anchors, and bolts placed at the bottom of the main shaft.

A Flood Tunnel was built out to the ocean to booby trap any treasure seekers attempts to follow down the main shaft.

A large stone was placed above the air lock (8[SUP]th[/SUP] level) as bait to activate the flooding.
This stone had strange engravings on it to entice any unworthy treasure seekers to pause and take the bait (stone) away for deciphering, thus allowing time for the tunnels and main shaft to fill with water and be destroyed forever.

The Masons could access the Treasure Cavern under the ocean by digging down to its entrance from where they triangulated a set Marker on the shore to be.

Once the treasure was secured in the cavern and all the evidence was hidden from the island, it was documented that the Keppels sailed back to England with a few ships and a small portion of the treasure.
They claimed that the remainder of the fleet had sunk in a hurricane on route.

The Masons left several Marker Stones on the island to relocate the treasure.
1 large triangle or more precisely a crude Sextant
Many drilled holed Marker Stones
1 large Marker Stone Cross
These combined Marker Stones from the Freemason’s Star Map are used to cross triangulate to locate the entrances to where the Treasure Cavern and Sir Francis Bacon’s Tomb are located.

Is the treasure still in this cavern?

I believe it was removed shortly after the American Revolution.

One of the three original discoverers of the Money Pit was Daniel McGinnis, who stated he was drawn to the island when he noticed strange lights appearing on the island just prior to his discovery.

These lights were made by the Freemasons when they returned for their treasure.

This Masonic party was headed up by George Washington, President of the United States — acting Grand Master of the Washington DC Masons.

The Treasure’s vast fortune was used to further the power of the Freemasons in their New World and accomplishing Bacon’s dream of a New Acadia.

Sir Francis Bacon, along with his original and unpublished Manuscripts, are resting in his Tomb, located between Nolan’s Cross and the Money Pit, watched over by a statue of the Knights Templar.

First , you did not answer the question
second, Freemason’s were never part of the Whig party
try again

Gee...just Google!
George Anson (25 July 1731 – 27 October 1789), known as George Adams until 1773, was a Staffordshire landowner from the Anson family and a British Whig politician who sat in the House of Commons between 1761 and 1769.

Just another fictional story of the Oak Island Money Pit to be added to the Templars, Henry Sinclair, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, and whatever other version a pulp quasi historian charlatan can fabricate.

You still did not answer the main question, choosing to evade instead.

Your post is almost verbatim from this sitehttps://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8153634
Hacker news is hardly an authority
the topic of Anson being a Freemason has come up at my research lodge many times, one member who was raised to MM in England has access to all of those Masonic records, he has never found confirmation that Anson was a Freemason, thus putting to bed this fabrication of a Masonic connection between the Order and the Shepherd’s monument. At Shugborough.

Almost verbatim is the key words!

Hacker News quoted one of my earlier theories (2014), I have since revised it a bit!
OK, so you have been hacked, lets get back to the original question, why do you call these constellations Masonic?

Anson was a member of the Royal Society and about two thirds of them were Antients. It was this map that was used on Oak Island that kicked off the search.

All you needed to do is read the newspaper reports that said from the start they were using the map (by the way it was said this way up to the late 1960s when the story was changed to remove this detail).

AND, the posted news article states they were looking for a treasure buried on Oak Island by not Henry Sinclair, not Templars, not Freemasons...
but the pirate, Captain Kidd.

Not always. In most of the contemporaneous reports the origin of the 'treasure map' was not stated nor was it attributed to anyone in particular. In fact it was mostly described as an ancient map because there were multiple copies by that stage. But you actually need to read the reports, not guess what you think they said.

As I said they story was reported that way up from the start.

It's interesting to see who doesn't know of this because, ahem, they never looked but just hung their coat on the post 1960s version of the story.

So all that stuff about Henry Sinclair etc? Invented by persons whose research never even went as deep as opening a newspaper......

Alan... I have followed you for some time...I do not believe your True Desire is to find the Solution to the Mystery of Oak Island!

You like many others are content to throw out your criticisms only to derive appreciations from like followers.

For You and other Like Minded...All I can say is...Take My Word On It...Or Prove Me Wrong!
