new show on the dutchman

Kinda like "come up"? Came, had come, have come.
...but it works in the vernacular of the West.

:love3:
*chuckles* you win one and then lose one! (typo on my part)

Incidentally, I wasn't getting at _you_ as such. It must be an Americanism - so-n-so turned up dead, so-n-so turned up missing ... even the major networks are using it.
I would submit that if somebody 'turns up', they are neither dead nor missing!

Loke,
You obviously have never heard of Scott Wolter.

Well, someone had to say it.
Long live television!

If I ever make any claims to you, then you can ask me to back them up, and I will gladly do so.

OK Amigo, man up on this one:

Howdy Amigo,

If you have to assume that there is any truth at all to any of what I stated, you really need to study up on the subject before trying to debate at all. It would eliminate the need to repeat what is common knowledge over, and over. I for one have never asked a single question about the LDM, or PSM's clues. Every statement that I made to form my opinion is either common knowledge, or can be understood with common sense. I can always back up what I say, some times I will only do it via pm, but I will prove what I state.

Many Mexican mines found in the area are narrow, rock is worthless. When they came in 1846-47 for what could be a last dig, the war was on, so they were pressed for time. Old Jake worked one winter on widening the shaft for a depth of six feet, and a width of two, and a half by two, and a half feet to cover it. That is still only room for one man. With a hoard of miners, you could only get one man at a time to do what Jake did, and accomplish nothing. Taking turns on the vein yielded the best results.

I don't like to be out of topic, but I also don't like to leave a question unanswered. Watch the upcoming show, and hopefully many of your questions will get answered. My hope is that they at least prove that the Superstitions are mineralized.

Did you plant evidence when you were a cop. You sure disrespected the Stone Maps and the people at the museum that let you do that should be dismissed.

The secret map used on the show is on page 31 of "In Search of the Heart" it originated in Garmins 1975 book.

As I said play close attention to Garman! Phill I did not place the stone on the display. Only photographed it after I discovered it there. The museum wanted to keep the stone for display. Perhaps someone wanted to see how it would look on display. I do not know who placed it in the display and was distracted filming. When I did see it there I thought cool, back home.

Relax Phil , is only a fiction movie .
Enjoy the show eating Pizzeti , or you don't like Pizzeti ?

Upon reflection I have a thought. You have my permission to copy the photo and enlarge it to poster size. It would make a great addition to the stone map displays. It's the only photo of the full map set.

Phil I do believe a apology is in order for your unfounded statements. What ever issues you have with your staff should be addressed there.

You want me to prove an opinion? Or do you want me to prove that rock is worthless? You can take any common rock to a pawn shop, and try to sell it. That will prove my point.

Homar

Perhaps the shear volume of words in your quote was overwhelming.

Here is one part you might try to prove.
Old Jake worked one winter on widening the shaft for a depth of six feet, and a width of two, and a half by two, and a half feet to cover it.

Jeff I ran into Phil a month ago at a rock show. I showed him that photo and he commented about the staff. Said noting to me face to face other than nice to meet you. I was a bit surprised by his comment a month later. Thank you.

Go ahead and burn out the potential audience for some cheap Entertainment value.......

If you are busy making a show that takes "Historical" information and turns it into this type of entertainment.......where's the incentive you will maintain your own audience......and who is going to watch something based on historical evidence and archaeological evidence, and buy into it for the faked excitement.....

You cant take the area's truest legends and then Skirt around the Issue, by making a documentary about any gold finds there....thats kinda like saying what has been found there already by others is irrelevant to any of this...

the people who made the show were not very nice in their responses, ignoring the interviews......then this rolls off the production lines too fast, and to me is going to be a little skim in the facts......looks like its more like fat free....

.......Should have spent more time in the prep....that's one desperate rush to fill a void behind the Wolters show.

Will there be any interest left for the real finds......??

I just did some research, and I learned that the person that posted the casting call on this forum in Dec, that is from iTV is working on a different show about the same thing. The company that produced the one that just premiered is Go Go Luckey Entertainment, and the other posting was from iTV which are 2 very different companies......

@ Joy, What number is that circled in yellow ?

Now compare the research from the trail I found above, and this from the show 'Superstition Mountains' below. Supposedly a heart shaped rock, sorry if the outlines brought out the shapes, but you can clearly see its not a heart in ANY manner ither than SGT's imagination.

Cause I just did a year of research, to see both Scott Wolters, the King of Concrete Evidence, and now another charade on TV making complete fools of fact itself, using a map out of a book, that is nothing more than a copy of the same stones on display, except altered to fit with the intent of justifying going to this location.

So how can not one person see the shape you ask?

Well I can see the number 5 just fine.

Eldo, I can see the number 5 in your trail with the elevation of the trees. But would they really rely on something like trees? Trees come and go, those could be chopped down and then what? I assume there are other signs that lead you to this location with the trees that look like a number 5?

Hello Sarge,

Enjoyed watching your program on Sunday night and look forward to the rest of the series. Seems like you folks are having a great time out there.

Regardless of what folks believe perhaps they can learn something while having the chance to experience some very special country.

Perhaps what is really valuable in those mountains has very little to do with great wealth, in the sense of Gold, but a lot to do with what the adventure does to us.

And anything you can do to keep people in that part of the range is a good thing.

Good luck in your efforts.

I'm guessing most here don't get out very much. I can guarantee you first hand that what you see in Google Earth (or even a flyover 500 ft. above the deck), is not even close to what the actual terrain is when you're out on location. I just have to laugh at all the photos people post trying to match up the terrain or landmarks from a satellite/aerial photo with what they think they see on a map. Get a clue people! :BangHead:
