Nope, Id like to see the tea party as a third party - though I doubt that will happen.

And you think there are any more liberals than the 60s 70s, etc, etc? I'm not sure if any data shows that. Frankly I think voters on a whole have always tended to be split almost 50 / 50. Not too many presidential elections where one side gets 75 percent of the vote - right?

There is 110+ million more citizens now than in 1970 and you say there are no more liberals now than there were in 1970.

Our schools are being taught by liberals, liberals far exceeded independent or conservative teachers, the entire curriculum is liberal based the last 20 years.....

Of course compared to bush some previous democrats did look fiscally responsible. He spent like a far left liberal and was a traitor to the Republican Party.

Well he did but much of it was to prevent America from being attacked again under his watch. Congress of course created the nightmare known as homeland security and Patriot Act. Obama and Congress are adding to big government so the night mare continues.

I agree with you treasure hunter. Liberals also are not only teaching school, they are entrenched in the bureaus of our government.

And what are you using as your baseline?

For starters, trillions of debt spent by the most liberal ex-US Senator now President in our history.

Again, TH, this is not based on anything. This is your opinion and you are presenting it as though it were fact. You are also shaping a circular argument.

Do you seriously not see how it is a problem to present one's opinion as fact? (BTW, I respect YOUR right to hold such an opinion).

TH, percent of population. What percent of the vote did Romney get???

TH, percent of population. What percent of the vote did Romney get???

Do you mean before or after the precincts in key states reported the 110%-115% turn out? The same states with no voter picture ID laws.

So I guess you are saying that in fact the majority of voters are actually conservatives and Romney won? Which is it.

1 the country is dominated by liberals?

2 Romney actually won the election because there is a conservative majority?

You see why I am having trouble reconciling your two statement?? Which is it. If Romney really won the election than how can the country have been taken over by a vast liberal majority? If the country is over run by massive number of liberals than why does one need fraud to win an election?? Frankly I don't care which one you believe but obviously you see the 2 can not exist together??

Best.

My read on Christie is that he is a liberal who claims to be conservative when it is convenient. I am ready to move south again because West Virginia is geographically too close to all these liberal states, and it is rubbing off on people like our ex-governor who is now in the US Senate and now wants gun control.

Your read is wrong. But, not surprising from your extreme right position. Christie is nearer the center but still to the right.

Christie is about getting things done. He will reach out to the other party and compromise to move things forward. He does that because that is how government is supposed to work. This is lost on conservatives who, like spoiled kids, want it their way or no way.

Our government has come to a stop with the last congess. The most do nothing congess in 50 years! That's a fine legasy for the republican controled house! And, now, here we go again. A congress too distracted to move the people's business forward. A congress on a witch hunt.

it is against this backdrop of a congress in quagmire due to the extremist who, not getting their way, stand in the way, that Christie is viewed as a liberal.

Count'em five! The repubs have lost five of the last six popular presidential votes. Number six is 3 three years away unless they change.

How about his weight ?? You sounded like a bigot yesterday on the Gov.

Sounds like you don't like people who are few pounds over weight.
Time for your famous back peddle.

"
Christie is the repubs best hope for 2016. Agree, he needs to lose a lot of weight. Which he'll do right after he wins the primary when he cuts off the entire conservative extremist wing. Lighter, he will be more able to make his pitch to move this country forward. He can more than make up for losing those votes by appealing to just left of center dems. His abilty to work across party lines to get the job done is proven here in NJ. Finally, this country will move forward rather than being mired down by the extreme right."

I have to ask the glaring question. If you believe in fiscal conservatism how do you worship a Marxist type of idea like Keynesian economics ? So you give all your money to the gov and hope they distribute it to the industries that will advance the economy the best?

Al, give it rest. It's a joke! Though apparently over your head.

Christie's weight comes up in every interview about his future.

Al, speaking of bigots, instead of hating, why not get to know the guys who pump your gas? You know some of those guys doing the pumping are pretty sharp. And funny!!! great stories!!! But to get them to tell you about the themselves you first have to talk to them and treat them as equals. Give it a try!!! You'll actually find out places like India are much more advanced than the cave man era.

We need a do nothing Congress. They have already created too many laws and have done too much damage trying to control everything. We are losing our freedoms, can't you understand that?

Native Floridian, I used to be a democrat believe it or not. I was proud of it too because the party represented patriotic, hard working Americans who wanted this country to be strong and who stood for freedom. Then Jimmy Carter came into office and nearly ruined this country and decimated the military. That was when I asked myself why the heck am I a democrat? That was when I realized that something had changed, and I did not agree with what the party then stood for and still does today.....higher taxes, big government and big spending, handouts to make people dependent on the government, reduced military, control everything, etc...... So I became a Republican because that party supported the conservative principles that I believed in. You say I am extreme right, and I am if that means I refuse to compromise my principles. You see I remember how destructive it is to compromise your principles. In fact that is most of our problem today. Americans are compromising their freedoms. I am more conservative than I am Republican so your put downs of the Repubs do not really bother me, Regardless, this country would be better off if more people were on the right. I know you reject that idea, but that is ok because we still live in a country that currently allows us to have our beliefs and to freely speak them. I obviously don't agree with you politically, but I will defend your right to take whatever position you want. More importantly I will fight to defend our constitution and bill of rights. If you are truly wise, you would too, So Native Floridian, lighten up a little and be more kind to people who have views different than yours. Just enjoy your freedom while you have it, and be thankful that many brave Americans refused to compromise freedom so this country could be strong. When everyone agrees to compromise, we won't have any freedom and that will be a very sad day for our children and grandchildren. They deserve better.

And if by some chance she is the candidate it will only be pure republican incompetence if they can't field a candidate and create a platform to best her. It should be a piece of cake. Of course this last election should have been a lay up given the economy / unemployment rate etc. but the repubs offered nothing except vote for us because you don't like the other guy.

It's harder to get someone elected when they don't offer free handouts paid for by successful, hard working Americans.

Both sides handing out the freebies! One uses social programs the other side high bracket tax cuts and corporate handouts.

Then out got the bushster who did the breaks and a massive free drug give away. I guess that makes him a republicat or a democan?!?!?
