Mysterious brick

7 1/2 inches long - 3 inches wide - 1 1/2 inches thick . It's not made out of clay ,rock . or pottery , something lighter . It has the letters ' KAAS' on the top . It almost looks like a chunk of 'Hash' at least it has the same color . It weighs almost 2 pounds . Found it in the barn . Any ideas ?

how about pressed animal dung - for fuel - I'm hoping thats not it since I tasted it !

A brick of hashcheese hmm, how'ed you know that . Only way to find out is lay it cut it or smoke it.

I use to do hash...Not afraid to say so either...Preferred it over anything else....Oh this was one of them things I experimented with as a teen.....SCARDY CATS...I was young once too...Before the judge steps up though let it be known I engage in no Mind altering Drugs ANYMORE....hehe

Fire it up Mojjax......hehe I can vaguely remember Hash having sort of an resin kind of smell (before it was burnt) then a very sweet smell burning,.....hmmm

Ive been thinking it was a sort of fire starting log made of some recycled material..

anyway..found this one.. maybe you have a failed prototype of the Byproduct cheese firelog?

I might know what this is, hard to be sure from the picture. Do me a favor take a damp cloth and wipe it for a bit (having sat around you may have to make it a wet cloth or rub it for a min or two). Does it come off as a redish brown paste on the rag? Let me know.

Country Girl , I did the wet rag test - It pretty much just got some old dust and grime off it .

Don't worry Minnie Me , I didn't actually ingest it - I just licked a little piece to see if it was salty .

Could it be a raw brick of gutta percha ? I'm not sure of the properties of that substance , but I've been wondering if that might be a possibility ? been googleing , but haven't found much .

kinda wish it was hash - could use some about now (medicinal purposes)
