Shooting the intruder's "gun hand" eliminates further "threat" from THAT hand; shoot then, the other hand. Shoot in BOTH legs, call 911 for cops, etc. Training includes retaining composure, and NOT "panic"; MORE accurate in "aimed shot". YOU can learn this, too.

AND! LEO & MILITARY have DIFFERENT purposes for the training.

AND! YOU are NOT I...

I completly agree....thousands of wild pigs and deer are killed by the Gov. in this State for Depradation,and none can be used by soup kitchens,the needy,or Prisons........that is despicable!!!It is wasted,and they were killed on YOUR tax dollar......thats what you get with NO HUNTING.....I sure wish people would listen,and look into things....every action has a reaction

Who ever taught you that theory rebel is an idiot to the highest degree.What if the criminal is rushing you from 10 feet away with a meat cleaver.Are you going to try to shoot the cleaver out of his hand.

Well,amigo,I have completed Marine Sniper School ....graduated......home of the most intense Pressure shooting in the world only second to live combat,so dont tell me"I too could be trained",what you are describing is rubbish!I have been spitting distance from a charging Grizzly....not a man capable of shooting me.....and let me tell you....There is no way in hell you or I could stand there,yelling commands and shoot that bear in two precise locations....all the while he is trying to attack me!!!I have been shot in the hand.....long story,and yes it "smarted....hurt like hell",but I would have been able to do what ever I wanted to you,with my other one

The whole idea in a gunfight Reb is to put the other guy down as fast as possible,not to take well aimed pot shots at his legs or his gun hand.Thats absurd and insane.
