I think that it would be nice to see all of the George Washington Inaugural buttons that tnet members have dug over the years in one thread. If ya got em flaunt them ;D
There are more than a few out there :o

Adding where and when is optional.

Found in 2009. Orange county, VT. Large hay field.

Man I wish I could contribute a picture to this thread, but until I find one all I can do is just comment on all of yours & say great finds.

Here's my one and only. Found in Tazewell County in Southwest Virginia. Found it on a small rise in the middle of nowhere in a field 4-22-09. Lots of other flat buttons and odds and ends came from here. I think it was a very early hunting camp of some sort on the frontier here during the 1700's. Not a house site, because there was not enough larger iron typical with dwellings. I had no idea it was a George Washington button as it was still covered in dirt and riding down the road I joked with my brother about the five or six "dandy" buttons I found if they were all GW buttons. Got home and washed this one off last and felt like Christmas morning as a kid when I saw the chicken eagle. :) Sure would like to dig another, but I NEVER dreamed I would find even one in my part of the country.
