I think that it would be nice to see all of the George Washington Inaugural buttons that tnet members have dug over the years in one thread. If ya got em flaunt them ;D
There are more than a few out there :o

Here's mine eyeballed while digging an eagle C button in a cornfield near Manassas VA in the '80's Not the prettiest thing in the world but at least I got one :thumbsup:

dug '09 in upstate ny. an excellent argument for digging crown cap signals. and everything else.

FOUND THIS IN SOUTH MISSISSIPPI THE SECOND OUTING WITH MY NEW WHITES DFX. IT WAS LYING ON TOP OF THE GROUNG WHEN MY DETECTOR WENT OFF. THIS IS THE FIND I HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT!!

Ain't that the truth! It's almost like the plain ones put you into a trans and out of nowhere comes the good one.

It's not an Inaugural, but it's close enough and scarcer than most Inaugurals. Found at a Rev War site in SW PA. G. Washington sleeve link.

Not an Inaugural but fits in the thread like a glove! I wonder if any members have any mourning buttons? Any GW related button is welcome here :icon_thumleft:
