Legend of the Stone Maps

Question : I live for 15 years outside Apache Junctions in a Trailer Park . a Neighbor who lived there for many years , spent his time
searching the Superstitions for Jacob Waltz' pit . He came over to me one day while I worked on my old Jeep and began a conversation .
we became friends and he showed me gerber baby food jars with gold nuggets in them . The Jars were full . he said he was taking them in to sell .
he had held those for years in a few holes around the desert between the service road and a small peak in a straight line from the Trailer Park and that Peak .
He told me he left one jar buried out there and would leave some clues for me to follow to it , because I had given him my truck when his IH Scout
had broke down .
I know this sounds like a Fenn treasure story , but this was 1980 when this happen . I never looked for that Jar though . I eventually accepted offshore employment with Halliburton . I am now retired and wish to go adventuring out there and look around .
My question is what the best metal detector would be to take and if there is anybody in the forum that lives near that Trailer Park that may want
to take a chance with me and go look together .
thank you for all these interesting Ideas you guys have posted .

Enjoy your search!

he was very old in 1980 and i didn't think he was serious at first . then he gave me a greeting card with a dotted line from park to peak and said
to metal detect while i walked that line . it was real simple to do back then but now there is so much development today . I never needed the gold and still
don't , but thinking about it recently , I thought to search the internet and find a place where people know what they are doing with metal detectors and ask questions . I have one I bought at an Estate sale . it is a minelab kind , turned it on and it read a quarter i put in the sand at the beach .

adtofca,

I live in AJ.pm me amd we can talk

adtofca,

If I had to choose, roadrunner would be at the top of my list. Based on my experience with the man, he is generous, honest, and interested in what he sets out to do.
Good luck in your search!

Sarge has not deleted your post he does not have the ability to do so nor has he reported one either.

You deleted 3 of your own posts though back to back...

I remember very well how I deleted 2 of 3 . I left the first with the explanation for the trail heart and the Latin heart .
Keep going .

i know the thread says hoax but......

lets say the stones do go/show someplace, are there any opinions,

I respectfully disagree with that explanation of the red area. The trail leads through La Barge box and as you exit at the location of Crawford's Sheryl Ann claim all three of those clues become visible.
Before any of you reject this you should hike through the box and really see for yourselves. My book "Straight to the Heart" has all the pictures for those that cant see it for themselves.

No problem. Lots of folks disagree with my solution. I respectfully disagree with yours.:argue: :) At the exact end of my Stone Map trail, there is this:

Probably just a coincidence that there is a heart at the end of the Stone Map Trail and that the Stone Map Trail ends at the center of the heart on the actual maps.:dontknow:

Take care,

Joe

You should rephrase that to say Chuck Crawford's book, everything and I do mean everything you have was taken from chuck
