A little late for corn. Maybe turnips? I know Jerry, Char and Denny are prolific hunters and very friendly guys. I hunted with Loydd T. from Schaumburg when he started out and took him street work hunting with me and as usual, he out did me that day. Hope he can show up. Then again most times when someone breathing shows up they out do me.

Got a nasty habit of bringing other folks occasional beginners luck. Mayo might agree! Might have to kidnap him from the depot that day for a showup as well.

As luck or fate has it, I WILL be able to attend this awesome sounding event! WoooHooo!
I had previously requested vacation time to totally gut and redo my kitchen and I should be able to stop the destruction for one day so I can meet everyone and have a blast.

I'll bring some dogs and or burgers, and buns if someone else is bringing the grill.
Might also bring some special Belgian Beer.

Wow I can't wait to see the role call on this hunt. Holy sweet peas there's going to be a MOB detecting in those woods. Hopefully we don't draw too much attention from the cops. They'll be like, "ok, where's the party we have to break up?" Cops are usually pretty cool unless a town has an ordinance strictly against metal detecting, but for the regulars at the camp how have the officers patrolling the area been?

I am more worried about food. If we add to many more items to the list I might as well leave my metal detector in the car.

I will warn you that if cops do come I will probably get into a hour conversation about his cary piece............ Xd vs Glock , 9mm vs 40 vs 45acp, or penetration vs stopping power vs follow up shots

Very few Chicagoland or CCFP cops might know what you're talking about Max. In fact you might not want to let on that you are a gun owner, could get you searched. I'm west of the Fox, where it's a little more laid back but they can be "sensitive" east of Rt. 59.

When I was a kid, we could pull over on a country road west of town and do a little shooting, but these days it'd result in a SWAT team and news copters all about the place.
