It needs some research but you have an good early 1800s British Button. The 'Bugle' is used by a few Regiments, mostly the Royal Rifles & the Oxfordshire.
 

PS. Although the 'stars around the edge' now make me think War 1812 US type,,,,,someone will chime in soon.
 

Found it, I think; 1820's Rifles State Militia Officer's Pattern

After cleaning pic but why does some say London treble and mine says superior rich I know treble means triple coat thanks any info
