I haven't found any 1943 wheaties yet. Maybe one day I will. Thinking about how many hundreds of dollars I have been through I am surprised I haven't found one. I will be looking forward to your posts. I am hoping I can hunt more too during Christmas break. Holidays are also when desperate people cash in collections to buy gifts, so I will definitely up my half dollar searching for the next couple months.

I am hoping next week is better. It is pretty bad when I get skunked on a box of cents. There were 0 copper cents in the box. It was mixed dates and not brand new cents also. All I looked for was errors and varieties.

Cent box with no pack date. It looked exactly like the box I had yesterday. There was no copper except for 4 worn wheaties and some Canadian cents.

Wheats- 1926, 1929, 1942, and 1945.

Canadian- 1973, 1998, 2008, and 2010.

Other- 1976 dime. Happy hunting!

I am not sure. I never get any copper out of the rolls that say string and sons on them. I can't figure out were they come from. The boxes always have holes in the bottom. And the only coppers I ever get are worn down. I don't know if their machine sorts out copper or if every box with holes in the bottom is a dumped box.

Picked up 4 boxes of cents and I was very upset when I opened them and they were all new 2013 cents.

I also bought a roll of $1 coins and was skunked on those also.

I hope everyone else is doing better than I am.

This is exactly why I hate searching boxes of anything but halves. I get CWRs of other denoms, but stopped boxes for the most part cuz i got tired of wasting time w/new coins.

Sometimes at the beginning of the year I'll get em cuz if you can be the first to sell them on eBay, weirdos out there will pay way over face for them. (Why)
