$40 cwr halves that the teller kept for me

Skunked!

I am hoping to be able to order a box of halves if I save up more money until Christmas. I haven't asked my bank if they can order one, but I am hoping they can when I get the funds.

Today I found a new way to up my funds. A guy at the flea market told me he would pay $4 per roll of 40's and 50's nickels. I will be selling my 40's and 50's to him unless they are in very good shape or a key date. He also said he would pay $0.25 a piece for 1938 or 1939 nickels. I think I am going to sell him a few 1939 nickels because I have a ton of them. I am also trying to find a bank that has Eisenhower dollars because he pays $1.25 apiece. If I can sell him coins on a regular basis I might be able to afford a half dollar box by the end of the year. I only need $250 and I will be able to get one. Happy hunting!

Crazy! Nice job. I Just saw a bog of pre 60 nickels sell for 355 bucks. 200 worth on nickels in the bag. No clue why or how haha. Maybe something else you can do :p

Dang that's sweet if that can be a constant source

just keep stacking, just keep stacking, stacking stacking stacking

Nice going, Hunter. Pretty soon you'll be getting skunked on halves like the rest of us. Lol.

Not skunked like me though :p haha. Had 3 boxes today, gave up 12 90%s and 19 40%s! A great start to the new week. (My hunting week always ends on Friday).

You can sell those pre 1959 on ebay and make more but if you are looking to make a quick face to face flip than go for it. Good job on the hook up!

I would rather do a face to face flip. I don't like to sell much on eBay, sometimes it is to much of a hassle. We go to the flea market every Saturday, so I won't have to go out of my way either. Happy hunting!
