Most of this box was 2013 also.

I hate those solid date boxes of coins, nothing makes me cringe more than opening a box of coins praying that I see a circulated mix and to find out all the coins are brand new. Do your boxes have holes on the bottom that say something like, "visually inspect to make sure all 50 rolls are there"? or "read bottom of box before opening"?
I've trained some of my better tellers to check for me inside the vault to see if the coins look brand new that way just by looking through the holes at the bottom of the box. (Only the tellers who know I am out hunting for older coins)
Good luck,
BuffaloBoy

Every once in a while I get a box with holes on the bottom, but about 95% of the time it is a sealed box with no holes. I was going to get 2 more boxes later this week, but I think I may ask for cwr since the other boxes in their vault are more than likely 2013. Or I may get a box of dimes. Happy hunting!

Yes they do say "visually inspect for all 50 rolls." The one exception is a nickel box i got once that was sealed on the bottom. It might depend on your bank.

Today when picking up cwr and boxes I asked the teller if I could buy the 2 half dollars in her tray. She said eww, you want this one even though it is yellow? I purchased them and the yellow one turned out to be a 1967 Kennedy. This is my first silver half! I am so excited! Happy hunting!
