Hi You say that it is owned or controled by the state. #1 I don't know what state it is in, but go to the State Historiecal Socity. They are very greedy bunch and always wanting some to show. #2 Tell them they have a treasure and don't know it. #3Do Not even tell them what site the treasure is on until you have a written and signed contract saying that you get 2 things. (#1 a good % in cash of the treasure, #2 Your name shown as the finder of the treasure. The State Historical Society has the best lawers that can be found to get permission to find the treasure. I know this to work because I have done it myself and in my case I got the treasure worth $40,000.00. Check it out. Palo Duro Caveman

Duppies = Ghost

Stories say that the soul of the person who buried the treasure stays guarding the treasure, after many years go by the soul gets tired of guarding the treasure and he chooses a person to tell him were the treasure is, is usually revealed in a dream, you most fallow the exact instructions in the dream to recover the treasure, if you don't fallow the exact instructions you will not be able to recover the treasure.

Best,

Chagy......

This story is getting more fascinating by the minute. We are all pulling for ya Shadow....just remember all the help that we gave you...and break us off a little piece of the kit kat bar ;D

With a potential value in the millions.. wait how would bill put it... MILLIONS.... how can you walk away with out pulling out almost all of the stops!
go for it!

Would recommend going the set up a recovery arrangement w/owner/owner's first with no reference to location.... but may want to attempt to confirm location first - become the night guard/security guard or rent the facility out for an evening - Cinco de Mayo party, birthday, 4th of July whatever free yourself up for a little legitimate scouting. Museums do this stuff with regularity.

I wouldn't be so willing to give up the location if you're initially unsuccessful.... What was that show with David Carradine as the Kung Fu master.... patience, grasshopper.

good luck!!

I would suggest the following.
Gether all the information you can and put it in the proper order.
The form an Investment Group.
Offer to purchase the property or a Lease to own along with ALL RIGHTS.
What type of structure is it and is there any of value in it that can be inventoried/priced.
Have the Investment Group offer to purchase with IMPROVMENTS included. Groups connected with Preserving ANYTHING are always looking for FUNDS. Once you have reached this point do not be afraid to invest some dollars to make the proper showing. Find the original structure design and offer to put in back in its original conditions-this enhances your postion.

Easiest Solution....If you are positive that the treasure is there Buy the property.....offer them $1000000. By the time the transaction goes through you will have the loot and be able to pay it off.......
Simple

personally I would go to the land owner and say, I have heard rumors that in this area maybee on your land or the surrounding properties there may be a treasure buried ,we cant confirm it and im researching it more now, and I would like to get permission to hunt the property with special equipment, and would like to make a deal if I found anything a 50/50 if i happen to hit anything, would that be ok with you, and if so I need to get you to sign an agreement for permission and a split if anything is actually found, make it sound like its not likely but if by chance you do hit a split would be in order for your research and time to investigate, the area, tammahawk

I have read all the responses on this Treasure in the Wall deal and here is what I suggest.
If this property is owned by some Society then JOIN that Society. Do not say a word about the potential hidden treasure in the walls. Pick out the members that you think are interested in COIN shotting and take them on one of your trips. BUILD their interest. Do not talk any HI TECH talk or BS them. When you take them on a little outing show them how to use your detector. If you have to SALT the area you are going to and let THEM find something. This will change their outlook INSTANT.
NEVER NEVER mention a word about your dream or the location. THEY WILL MENTIONED IT TO YOU THEMSELVES "GUARANTEED".
I also suspect they will want to cover the grounds around the location-in time.
But they have to find something THEMSELVES.
I hope this gives you some idea on how to approch this venture.
Hope this does not upset to many people but it is LEGAL ::) may not be moral but that is up to what YOU think.

Wow! .. So Whats Happening?

Being a retired cop, let me say if you follow the advice of some here (tongue in check) make sure you are the first to be interviewed by the detectives! Ussualy the first interviewed is offered the best deal to spill thier guts on everyone else involved! And 95%
of the time they do!

Expose yourself to the current operators, and then somewhere down the road make friends with the manager, guard etc etc .. will bring you back to the first paragraph!

Best advice I read after reading all of this is by Caveman, go to the State Group or whoever would control this, Reveal nothing until you have a contract with two main points, % of the find and recognition. I'm sure there are experienced people here who can supply you with a blank contract.

Relatively new at this, but what I have read so far, there have been many deals between private parties and organized groups, goverments etc to recover treasure!

SO whats happening? Anything?

What is a TREASUIRE?????
Can Lead ore that contains 5% silver be treasure.
Their a town called Galena (what else) in Southwest MO. tjhere is a hill of this material. A 55 gallon drum with weight about 2,000 pounds and 5% of this will be silver.
Check it out if there is any questions.

that would be 100lbs of silver correct?, sounds like money you would have to smelt it out, I looked up silver prices, 100 lbs would be worth 18,800 dollars ,sounds good to me, tammahawk
