Anyone have any idea what the plastic box with the round I.D. tags are? They had her last name ENGLANDER and the hospital "Beth Isreal Hospital" The hospital is in Brookline mass. I found all of it in boston buried in a plastic bag. There is a lucky charm police looking badge that has her full name. Leslie Joy Englander, from Newton Mass. :icon_scratch:
Any ideas if the disks are her birth tags?

Yes two pieces say Leslie, which tell me that this person is a female. Also I don't think a male would have a middle name called Joy (if tis in fact a middle name).

LOL...you are so correct....unless his Daddy was upset someone took the name "SUE" to name their boy, so he gave his son "JOY" for a middle name! LOL!

These pieces are so 70's to me, maybe even 60's!

I have a feeling YOU (we) are looking for a young lady who either lost this stuff, buried it for some unknown reason, or the home she lived in burned. Maybe the round tags (beth israel) are maybe from a parent or grandparent of this young lady who stayed at Beth Israel and she saved them as a momento. Maybe she was in the hospital for some reason? That person I found living in NY born in 1960...I think I will see if I can locate her, just to see...hmmm? She would have been in her 30's based on the time frame she lived at this address. All she can say is no, it's not her!

When you talk with someone from the Beth Israel Hospital again...ask if they have anyone by the last name of ENGLANDER that stayed there ... I would go with 60's and up to 1976 (date of latest coin I can see posted).

I suspect that the coins were taken home from her vacations to mexico and the Netherlands. I think she was robbed. I am now feeling that the tags are toe tags from one of her parents. I also feel she is originally from NY, then came here to Boston for college, was robbed, then moved back to NY. Just a theory. Beth Isreal Hopital in Boston was a bit of a dead end. Don't think I will call them again. If I call NY Beth Isreal I will ask. :icon_thumleft:

I dont know why the tags would have 2 different numbers ( P-226 & X-633) since you can only die once. :icon_scratch: Unless it is from both parents.
I thought my number (G-1506) was a grave number but now I am not sure.
