Crusty Shellback said:Hello Dustedyou,
I found this in the woods in Cape Cod Mass, Was thinking maybe an old tool or weapon? Could be just a rock though.. What do you think?<img src="http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1041823"/>
Here's a pic of a piece of rock , what is it
What about gelena? Or basalt ?Maybe you can help me with this one. Light weight, non magnetic, found in a corn field in PA, looks like a piece of glass on the end. Metal detector went crazy when it passes over this one. I am thinking meteor but no magnetism? Thanks for your help
I live near butler pa and have seen a lot of that in my creek . It's smooth like chert. Very abundant here.Looks like flint, or could be volcanic glass how hard is it? can it be easly chipped?
Feldspar maybe.
Help with id. Greenstone? Or jade ? Found in creek in Arizona
