Sorry for multiple pictures, treasure net is new to me. I am wondering if these are petrofied bones?

I dug this up 20 years ago. Some said they believed to be slag glass. Cornell university wanted to send to nm to identify.
What do you think?

These are also magnetic and have obvious quartz and mixed ore but what do u think about them?15854429316598324209535100858627.webp15854429978451476050646859755521.webp15854431106431813190250395366715.webp15854431720712708332263743544217.webp15854432374303053011629619822623.webp

Able to help me identify this one if possible

Rocks were all incased in a flaky golden substance

How about this one? pretty distinctive features.
Picture is of a rock supposedly dug out of a hillside natural spring 2020-03-03_084007 Rock dug out of BeckeySpring by John J Whipple great grandson Jerry Mattson...webpin about 1885. Hillside appears to be sandstone, is this a sandstone rock? Or basalt? or?

I'm new member, not sure I got the photo attached ..... hope so, let me know if not attached.

Thx
Doug

Found this in Placer county, Ca. I know it's mostly quartz, but I'm curious about the darker stuff and the yellow shadded sections.

These were found less than a mile away from from the Tallahassee capitol building while excavating. They were roughly 25’ below grade at 110’ above sea level cased in lime rock. Came out solid in round ball like shapes, have since dried and began to crack. Found many in one location. Photos are of same rock different angles.
