Does this look like it could be jade i found it while i was in the woods and i thought it would be a neat rock to break open and see the inside and it ended up being completely green inside and its transparent when i hold a light behins it and it was extremely hard to break apart i actually couldnt do it myself i had help loll also i tried the scratchTest and its not able to be scratched.. please let me know what u think
What did you test the hardness with? Are the pics taken of the dry specimen?
If a knife doesn't scratch it - consider having a gemologist or a local lapidary club check it out in person.
