Epidote or serpentine in a mafic host rock. Serpentine is scratched with a knife.

I got these from someone who had them in their closet for 20 plus years.

This fell out...wondering what if anything I should do with it. Maybe making a necklace for myself.

This is my favorite. Is it Agate? Any suggestions on how to treat it? Leave as is or thinking of polishing the side in the1st photo. New here and appreciate opinions or suggestions.

Hi, we found this one on our ranch in South Texas. Its very heavy and approximately the size of a small watermelon. Can you please let me know what it is? Been searching online but can't seem to find anything close. Thank you!

Mostly chalcedony, some amethyst.

The metallic looking thing; will a knife scratch it? Streak test, what color to you get?

When I scratched it with a knife it fell apart. Very brittle and light. When I turned the larger one over and scratched the grey area, What felt like ash came out.20170815_034059-1.jpg Did not do a streak test.

Sorry for all the edits. I'm new to this and just trying to get it right...originally I posted pics of he rock, I'm trying to get info about, but the rock was wet. So here's a few dry pics.
Any idea what kind it is? Found it on our ranch in South Texas.

I'm finding these chunks in with my heavies. They are super shiny and a really dark maroon brown to sometimes black. Some type of natural iron?

Thanks!

Found attached on Bournemouth beach in the sand about elbow length deep into the sand (under a few layers of grey ringed sand) and I just really want to know what it is or a bit more about it? It looks like lava or something and there looks like other smaller rocks that have melted onto it (see the different coloured patches in the photos) If anyone could help please do it was just something that was interesting and different. Thank you!! 20170820_111919.jpg20170820_111930.jpg20170820_111944.jpg20170820_111954.jpg20170820_112005.jpg20170820_112011.jpg

It's odd for sure. Possibly sedimentary in origin. Looks silica based. Can't give a positive ID.
I'd try rocks/gems or even the fossils sections for second opinion.

Very interesting and unusual find. The holes are definitely man made and the object is probably an amulet or talisman of some type or maybe it is just an ornament. The uniformity and smoothness of the holes indicates to me they were made by a modern age drill. The one stone in a hole that I can see (I am color blind so the one that is poking out is all I see) seems also to be shaped(?) into sort of a pyramid. The two other holes, if they are not filled, were probably used to string it for wearing around the neck. If they are all filled then maybe it is a worry stone. Just my opinions based on your pictures.
