GOLD RUSH South America starts August 2

I'm still not convinced they are down there to mine gold,
Any more then the Guys on Jungle Gold are in Ghana to mine.

All drama

On one episode in alaska the hoffmans were crying about trying to raise money, and they decided to sell some of their land next to.... " Our Airport in Oregon".

Hold on now. How many of you guys own your own airport ? Sheesh...

as I said before Millionaires with a Hobby, Crying Poverty

Just finished running the material from the fluid bed trap off my 4" dredge after a days dredging............ found 22 specks of gold that would have gone back into the creek without it.

That "Little Blue" washplant would need a trap constructed from a couple 55 gallon drums welded together end to end but it would sure be worth doing!

I would fly up there and build it for him for half the gold it saves from being lost during a season........
and the same deal for Tony Beets too. :goldbar::2barsgold::3barsgold::goldpan::icon_thumright:

Problem is, what we're watching now was filmed last year. :tongue3:

Now that I think about it, isn't Little Blue the washplant with the filter problem? That had a fluid bed sluice, they couldn't get the water clean...

Little Blue originally had hydraulic riffles and none of the Hoffman crew knew how to run them properly (plus the sediment/silt filled water kept them clogged) so they opted for regular tandem sluices and still lost nearly as much gold as they captured in my opinion. But then all I saw was what was presented on the episodes.

It was plain to see that they blew out gold every time they shut down and started up with full force water.
Also in my opinion they did not do clean up's often enough as once those mats were loaded up and packed solid they became useless.

I like Parker, Todd is not the sharpest rock in the field.

Great job GG!
Now try running it the other way around. Fluid bed first then sluice. After that you will toss out the sluice!

Over under classification, done peoperly, eliminates the need for all the goldfarbs -John

The trap will catch lost gold off the end of any dredge sluice, doesn't matter if it's over under, upside down, or sideways. :tongue3:
No sluice is 100% efficient.

well last nights new rerun show, proved to me how phoney they are.
camera guy even admitted the crowd was there to help them find the road to their site,
and todd got scared (Wa-Wa.Wa !) so they packed up and left the county.
Not a Mob, just a Crowd.

All these Rerun from other angles shows are weighing thin on my patience.
one more Re-cap show like last night, they pushed me away, like weather channels
rock show did

Those behind the scenes type episodes should not be run until after the end of the season. What a rip :cussing:

They should play behind the scenes INSTEAD of the show. How more reality does it get than a guy cutting his finger with a chop saw and falling off a barge into piranha filled water? I mean the tents blowing over in the wind all night? THATS what it's all about. Jellyfish clogging the intake.

And the home depot scene could have been filmed right here..
"sayyyy were areah de 16p nails k?"

:headbang:Goldfarbs are junk added as bandaids by those without the where withall to do it right in the first place. John

So that must mean your gold dredge is just another "farb". Because all you really need is a wool fleece like the used 1000 years ago when you were born. Everything different than that is just a "goldfarb" huh. :icon_scratch:

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THAT HUGE ANACONDA TRY AND SLITHER AWAY WITH A GUT FULLA OL'FAT ARSE TODD :icon_scratch:

The snake would choke on the fat toad, and I can see Toad crying like a baby, as his upper half is stuck! That's when the boys should help pry the snakes jaws open, so it can swalllow Toad whole.

Getting rid of fat toad will increase their split! :hello2:

Hoser, you know the boys just love to play with their tinker toys, and try to reinvent the wheel!

No harm in trying, I know i did it a lot!
