All I got was pop ups. What was it that suggested Todd in CO?

The article stated that there was very little recorded work done at the Oregon claims and that 316mining is now holding a claim in Park Co Colorado, possibly near Fairplay.

Most seem to agree that Tony is not very bright. I agree. Of all of them I think he is the most stupid.

Bucket line dredges are the worst for capture. They leave about 75% of the gold behind! Seriously, look up the mining reports from the old days. Tony isn't very intelligent to leave gold for the next guy and as far as "dollars per yard goes" who cares when 3/4 of the gold is left behind!

And I hate that the show tries to make the claim that Tony is making history and that he is the first one to bring back a bucket line dredge. That is a lie. Just a couple of years ago another company did the same thing in the Yukon.

Tony better be careful, all those dredge tailings in the Yukon are historical parks and cannot be mined ever! Tony is leaving 75% of the gold behind and he may not be able to go back and mine it to get all the gold.

It is amazing that Todd's crew continue to stick with him. I am not sure which is worse, Todd or his crew. They all left a sure thing in the Yukon for a completely unknown. An intelligent person would ask, if all the ground is as good as those two con men say then why aren't they mining it? They have a big wash plant and ponds all set up but won't mine it????? How is it that no one on Todds crew could think of that?

Don't you just love how Todd came up with nothing and the two con men told him to keep on spending tens of thousands per day and eventually it will get better? How stupid is that? And Todd agreed!!

I got a question:why on those dredges there isn't another gold catching devise ????or do you mean that the trommel isn't watching the rock enough......someone in the know must have come with a solution isn't???

Thanks

RR

I like Tony, it's the overhead he's slashing with the dredge.

What I don't understand, is why they can't be fitted with 12" suction, and a cutter head.

That's how we are mining gravel at work, and we go as deep as that antique bucket line, with no breakdowns.

I realize some of the larger rocks couldn't be moved, but the suction is bound to pick up more gold.

The Hoffman's are playing the clowns again, nothing new there, can you say "salted" testing area?

Parker finally found a stress reliever in his new girlfriend, any one else noticed how laid back and relaxed he is? Good for him.:cat:

the problem with the buckets, is they can't clean the bedrock off very well, or clean out the cracks, which is where a LOT of gold lies

Todd is a loser. Shame on him. I feel sorry for his hard working crew.

Todd's issue is he's got the grass is greener across the street syndrome.

Just in case Todd's reading this I'll explain it in a way he can understand. My food is pretty good but that guys plate looks mighty tasty!

Please NO!
...not in my state :(

I thought that Dave got a claim down the road? So they could try the two claim fiasco again. Boy am I glad you can't file a claim in my state! :icon_thumleft:

When you plug the address from this link into Google Earth I suppose you are at Toad Hoffman's operation and home...

smh, just smh

I know that area...there are several aggregate/gold operations along there and a couple straight up placer gold mines. Some of the only large scale, commercial placer gold producing operations in the state. The area produces good gold and Freddy Dodge knows it very well so I bet it's him that pointed the show/Todd at it. I wonder how they'll make it look like Toad is in charge when it's really the Freddy show in HIS home territory?!?

Uh oh - last week to prospect in Fairplay for the season. If this is true I better get out there at least once before this show ruins it =/

TOO late agolddigger !Just watch the traffic camara for that area and youll see the traffic is ALREADY backing up!:BangHead::BangHead: ! Everybody knows it now!

Found this Toyota Video filmed in South Park, Colorado a few years ago. You might recognize a face. This is likely the claim they were mining this year.

FYI: They stopped filming/mining mid October in Fairplay.
