Well...based on the traffic on this thread, I quess last night was a dud. I fell asleep before it came on and was wondering if anyone has a link to see last nights episode? Discover doesn't recognize my provider (Charter) :dontknow:

You didn't miss anything really.

The normal equipment failures, dumb mistakes, etc.
Parker's girlfriend was MIA.
Todd's crew didn't find squat.
Parker and crew look to be on schedule to achieve their goal.
Tony's leaving gold buried under dredge trailings as usual....He's happy with his cut of gold.

Season is really boring so far!

Parkers GF was up there for a temp visit . Probly to see what she would be getting into ! Shes probly back home with some rich guy !:dontknow:

Oh that's JUST what we need in the White House! :(

the small scale mining industry better get on the ball or that's what you're stuck with...

Todd for Secretary of the Interior! Well maybe someone a lot smarter but somewhat like minded.

i have heard forrest lucas from lucas oil products is up for that.he does a lot for racing.brad

Why do people watch this show? Seriously. I would rather watch lesbian socialists on MSNBC than Todd Hoffman. :skullflag:

Here's a guy (Toad Hoffman) that tells his workers to work several weeks without pay while he resides in the comforts of a $350,000 RV. What's wrong with this picture???

How much gold do you think Todd and his Dad have skimmed off the totals each clean up? :treasurechest:

Yeah, the dad being alone with the final cleanup and weighing would never set with me. If I'm an hourly employee, I dont care, I'm paid regardless. All those guys getting paid on shares are idiots (or more likely it's all paid acting) to allow that to happen.

What ever gold they find. Will be shown in the end. They don"t have to worry about bills. Its just a show. Hoffmans haven"t found enought gold in seven seasons to pay anyone. Never mind two weeks.

It is hard to believe that these hard working men, would work for free for two weeks. They must be getting paid, or they would had left. Good hunting and good luck.

The show doesn't seem the same without grandpa! He was my favorite character on the show. This season seems really boring so far. They need to add a new crew in the mix. Would be funny to see a crew striking it rich on Toads claim from last season!

I can see them heading back north next year. No matter how much they lose each year they always seem to come up with the grub$take from thin air to start over :dontknow:

Most all the claims they work are marginal. I heard on one of the shows. They needed $12 Or $13 per ton to break even. Now the figure is alway lower. Most the claims they work have been cleared. So you know the best gold has been taken. It cost a lot of money to clear those claims. So when the owner get what he wants. He will sell the claim to some one else. Like the Hoffmans. Even making millons of dollars. I don"t think they make much if anything.

Todd's crew can move dirt. Maybe they'd be more profitable just moving dirt....As in construction industry.

Too me it seems Tony has the greatest possibility of striking it rich. I'm not really sure his current dredge obsession is the best option. Why not just modify the old dredge? Seems like old school dredge combined with a suction dredge would be a better option. Bucket dredge from front with suction dredge in rear seems like it would probably be the best option. Looks like tailing are far enough away to make it work.

I was thinking that. Instead of busting up the bucket line on bedrock, just follow up with a decent sized suction dredge.
