Yes I saw it and I recognize manganese when I see it...Do You?

So Parker broke 2k but Tony was a major a-hole and he's off to find a new claim. And acting like a brat again.

Todd broke 1000 ounces but his claim owner wasn't satisfied. he insisted they get another 300 ounces within a few days. The crew got 217, which was pretty good, but now they are out of dirt.

Tony's dredge took on water and never got started.

One episode left.

I was really surprised at the special on the Dodges. They only did 400-odd ounces, and I'm amazed at how much black sand is in their stuff, especially the big chunky nuggets. I bet they lose 1/3 of the weight to slag

Drama !

All manufactured to get us to tune in next week.
I'm sure they had every intention of doing the hall road.

they would have been dumb not to.

as far as the Dodges ? Who are they ? they said Most Popular at the Beginning
of the episode?
other then the name freddie Dodge, bandied around here, I don't even remember them. So I didn't watch.

Tony's greed is probably real. you can't fake being that much of
an a-hole ! but Parker has to share the fault he apparently agreed
to Tony's deal.

I only really like the Hoffman crew any way.

but can Tolerate Parker

I never understood why the Hoffmann got excited this season. Wasn't the wash plant like 500k? Plus the claim owner wanted what, 20%? Plus like 100 ounces on top of that? Then there's fuel costs, equipment, etc.. 1000 ounces seems like maybe breaking even or so..

Parker's great as far as I'm concerned, and he's come a long way, but he obviously has some maturing left to do..

I like Parker more then Gene of course as I said above Manufactured Drama.
Gene Crying he's done. My guess next week he Spearheads the big push to get Parker his
Gold that he already had before the drama , and becomes the big hero.

all for One & one for all TV BS

Definitely truth to the manufactured drama. It is tv after all..

Those monsterous huge dark colored nuggets are 100x times better than that powder garbage and MUCH more karat and hence spot +++. A little soak in bleach and a quick ultrasound and viola some of the best a the best. Weight loss is almost nil and not a item of worry. Toad and the boys lost a half million plus another 1/2 million in equipment destruction by non maintence. 20% to owner and 300 ozs. owed to Dodge for that red mess. POOF half gone. Now fuel at their own admittance dozens of times $5,000-$7,000 a day ,so use $6,000 x 100 days =$600,000 and viola bankrupt as 0 for equipment and oops lets not forget that his buddy/partner put up yet another 1/2 a million in equipment and oops wear and tear as almost all ruined by lousy maintence on and on and on...hahahah $1,000,000+++ loss and that don't even include PAY FOR WORKERS....Toad is a miner when donkeys fly and chickens talk. Tony welllll he's Tony-make a deal --sign a contract and he expects you to live by your written deal pure simple and ez. Sniveling and whining lost Parker a ton of credibility..... as a man is only as good as his word. Time to move on....the series was rescued by the Dodge segment as lean, mean and newest technology works as proven by that humongeous cleanup and crippled by loss of equipment also. Color me green with envy as I sit here just a wishn'....John

Tod's owner wanted 100oz guarenteed at the begining: He got 200oz, and now he's not happy- made up drama. Parker got over 2000oz, and now he needs another 200+oz for a down payment? More made up drama. Tony didn't check the pontoons for holes?- more drama. Freddy and his brother will get at least spot-x-4 for their nuggets.

Especially true since it was known last year that the publicly traded mine corporation leasing to TOAD had renewed their lease agreement.

It is amazing how people get so worked up about this TV SHOW. Can you blame Discovery for scripting the "drama"? Duck Dynasty used to advertise it as an unscripted drama but they stopped since it and all the reality shows are scripted. I also watch Wild West Alaska and enjoy it for what it is, an scripted docu-drama (this week they were all using a hand cream and suddenly a commercial for the same cream showed up)

How many people except hard core prospectors would watch an actual operation where you were just watching machines work? I might but how long would you keep your attention? The other day I was watching a loader and a 400 excavator piling snow in one of the local "snow farms", they had the pile up to about 50 feet high and spreading across the field along with a D8. We have had over 100 inches of snow in the last 30 days.

BUT I only watched a few minutes, I think the same would be true of true tv show about a large scale mining operation how many people would spend hours watching it? Do you ever just stare at web-cams specifically Wave Cams?

Finally this is TV. If you want unscripted check out my Youtube videos of my driving through the snow it is unscripted of my son snowblowing and then our driving to Dunkin Donuts, let me know what you think of it

Jimmie don't put your snow shovel away just yet! the great state of Misery is sending you MORE! Enjoy! theres no extra charge for it!

That's what I admire most about my ol'bud Russ---he always shares :occasion14: John

Love the video...snow porn ;) but when I see panning, I want to see the gold; when I see a drive to the donut shop, I want to see the donuts! LoL

The dodge operation is great. They probably only made it one episode because the guys were to busy....to have time for added drama....I bet the Hoffman...parker sites are same old stuff everyday..... running massive yardage and not much drama until its created. They actually have to fabricate breakdowns and mishaps because everything is going normal and boring.
parker did sign a contract and can only say so much to Tony...but. Imagine all of a sudden you gross 2+ million and are handing over 400k...and are under Tonys operating rules and your royalty goes up after you make more/ get better at running. If it is a vetting out process for Tony to make sure he has a pro on his ground. it would seem in his best interest to keep parker around. And in Parkers best interest to move on.
As far as Parkers crew.....Up north you dig until you can't they should be proud at what they have done but, if they could dig another week and help to get a better claim as a team then they should be all in and for that matter they should keep their damn mouths shut about it. Parker is the Boss and what the Boss says goes...Look at Tony its his way or else and look what he has gotten out of life...I say that knowing I couldn't be around the dude for more than a half hour.
I don't know a single twenty year old that can find their way around a tree stump without asking their cell phone what they're even looking at.

Lots of created stuff But, unlike what a few others have said I could just watch a washplant and equipment run for hours.....watch water run a sluice for eternity...I miss Yukon Gold.
