So did anyone watch? Turns out the deal Parker has with Tony is the cut goes to 20% after Parker hit a certain level. I think it was 1500 ounces, which he hit. Parker is really struggling to find unfrozen ground now.

Tony is now dealing with electrical issues on the dredge and the fact he busted a few things with his slapdash breakdown.

Todd and company scored another 87 ounces and wrecked 2 of 4 trucks in the process. They got one running again but had to disable its back-end drive in the process so it only has front-wheel drive, but at least they have a truck.

Yea I thought they would have been able to take from one truck to fix the other but I guess not.

Maybe they are Limited by the Rental Company on what they can do.

I don't think they own them

Frankly, I hope to see all of them succeed. Eternal optimist I guess. I like to watch gold

I missed a few of the episodes but its like a TV soap opera, I should be able to catch up on everything by reading and watching tonight show.

After the talk or whatever the BS session is called showed and covered some of what they have to do for reclamation. Best 5 minutes of the season(s).

"we don't even record it because, well, it's boring"

That comment made me nuts too!

I've been whining for years that they don't show how they fix all that is destroyed. Finally it was discussed and a valid reason given to their general audience as to why it's not shown. It's boring, like putting your toys away cuz mom said to!

All in all, I finally liked last night's episode enough to watch it all the way thru. Predictable tho as the season is coming to a close.

was it wrong for me to have smiled when the old man told turd's crew about the small cleanout?

It's getting close to the end.

" Drama " either the Producers or the old man needed to hide a Hundred ounces.

if it was the Producers it will be added to the final cleanout of the season.

but personally I don't like the old man (with a morphine addiction) doing the clean ups in secret.

If I was on the crew I would have something to say about that

at any rate parker has doubled them, and it looks to me like turd has a larger crew

T-O-A-D is a better descriptor. There is no way I would let the old man (or any single member) to be alone during the gold processing. He can't even be trusted to run the loader without lying when something happens.

The gold their mining is in the tv ratings every Friday night, That is paying them all, although Beet's has had a real workable mine that was making a profit. when gold was $1500 a ounce but as it drops to $1000 or lower it won't be worth mining. That is one reason many of the mines have been closed for years, the easy stuff mined at low cost has long been mined out. cost of mining vs gold's value is very thin margin if at all. TV ratings are the real money

Don't think smiling was wrong at all,,,,,but do think calling him turd is.

His name is Todd------T-O-D-D-------Todd

well, he's not a Tnet member so I can, but I'll go with toad then

They just showed Tony and his 2 kids recovering a 1/4 million $$$ or so in a couple of days when gold was down to around $1,250 a oz at that time found. With property THAT ungodly rich he'd still be rolling in the dough at $800 an oz-$5k gas-$2k wear and tear-pay them kids $1k a day and still in the area of $180k in a couple a days......we should all be 1/10 that lucky-John

Not a bad episode tonight, good cleanouts for Parker and the Hoffmans.

I just have one question: how the hell did Monica Beets get those buckets into her truck all alone when they weigh 600 pounds? Tony sent her solo.

I know, I know. She obviously had help.

Like a Boss that's how. 1 in each hand.

Glad things worked out with the Hoffmans heating the sluice boxes. Was worried they might end up with sluice box taffy. MMMM

You didn't notice the chains on the buckets? Tony sent her over to the "bone yard" to find the buckets. She found them, grabbed a loader, chained them up, and then lifted them into the back of the P/U. Easy Peasy!

Yeah 10 bucks a yard...not even worth digging...that's $10 for digging up 40 5 gallon buckets....to put it in perspective...they are not striking it rich bringing in 1.5 million in equipment and burning 2-3k in fuel per day.

Hmmm let's see... a wash plant that can easily process 2000+ yds. per day @ $10 a yard. Do the math. :BangHead:

Well I hadn't been watching the "Toad Hoffman Comedy Hour" for most of this season but decided to tune in last night to get caught up a bit. Some of the things I noticed:

Tonys' mouth is still just as foul. Don't change Tony, we ***BEEP*** love ya the way you are you *** BEEP*** ***BEEP***!!!! Love that he is close to getting that old dredge back together and ready to rock n roll. Once he gets it dialed in it should be awesome! (Waiting for producer induced visit from Mr. Murphy on this part though)

Parkers attitude has mellowed out a lot since last season when he had the chip on his shoulder and the "new boss" power trip going on. He seems to be listening to his guys much better and is letting his foreman Gene actually do his job. His idea of diverting that small river most likely saved Parkers' dream of a 2000 oz season.

Toad and company seem to have gotten their collective act together much better this season, but I still would never allow a single person to be doing the processing by their self. Greed is often a bad thing. Would be interesting to go thru the tailings from Jacks cleanups and see what he is tossing out. Scrape the floors etc.

Last but not least that none of them have learned that equipment needs to be serviced on a regular basis or it will break down on you when you need it most. We can thank Mr. Murphy for that rule of life. A little grease and oil can go a long way boys!
