Had to escape from the ungodly complicated politics so I took the time to watch this horrendous joke. Fat man owes 300 ozs for that monster plant so outta 500 oz, 200 left. Then he owes 20% to claim owner, there goes 100 ozs and leaves 100 ozs.The they admit to $5 k a day in gas x 90 days=$450,000 so BANKRUPT yet again as $350,000 negative and that does NOT account for the maintence/parts/wear/tear/tires etc....yaa Fatman yet another sterling frickn' disaster as them operators gotta get paid also SOMETHING hahahah .I'll stick to dredging and a no thank you-John

But then there's the 20k an episode they all get so he probably came out a little on top. Imdb is only showing 13 episodes but toad wasn't in one so that would be $240k to him and Dave. If toad and Dave went 50/50 on everything then they each walked away with $65k. That's assuming they got 20k an episode though, I just saw that number in another thread talkin about the show. Dave also paid toad 500k for his half of the operation too when he joined back up with toad.

Doesn"t make any difference what the bills are. In the end they will show them with all the gold they got. Hopefully they have a huge line of credit.Or the T.V show does. I know its just a soap opera.

I used to enjoy the show quite a bit. IMHO, this season they took some of the best material they've have ever had yet it just seems to drag on and on. I was looking at the clock just 10 minutes in. I watch it for the drawings now. I did notice a reduction of F bombs by Tony, at least what was aired.
First chuckle of the day John, Thanks!

I'm majorly loosing interest as you can see from my post above.
& trust me "5 Minutes" worth is being generous in my guess of what I actually watched this week.
there is just nothing there to watch. last nights seemed to be almost all about tony,
maybe that was why it went so fast as I just don't care about him.

one question, did I fast forward through a clean out by " r.webp" ?
I don't remember catching much but him and "Gene Gene" discussing frozen ground

All that rigged controversy is getting old. Next Cristo will attempt to get Parker/Tony into
a fist fight which will gain new viewers. Or maybe Cristo reveals that Grandpa secretly
wished for a granddaughter and he got Parker instead. Then he sets Parker up for a
showdown with Grandpa and John gets all weepy and admits he was disappointed when
baby Parker was born. This of coarse sets Parker into first rage and eventually giving up
and joining the Toad Crew as camp cook.

well they killed the link again this week, looking for a new link that you don't have to give a creit card to use.

bill in costa rica

Not to mention, you have to factor in the expense of fresh doughnuts. ;-)

Bingo ! Drama queens with one invented crisis after another. Most of these shows are garbage.

So true ! without those mocked-up conflicts and dramatization of the series , they won't have a "Show" !

The real entertainment is the "Grandpas Gold Show" , that ole fella is a true entertainer !

https://www.youtube.com/user/grandpasgoldshow

With simple methods he "invents" alongside his invented "gold prospecting terms" :laughing7: he creates great videos !

This one is priceless, LOL

Gold Prospecting with Milk Crates on Grandpa's Gold Show

I am getting very disillusioned with all the bogus stuff happening on Gold Rush. The first couple of seasons were worth
the wait for Friday night, now not so much. Sick of the crap that Cristo is starting to make this show, wish they would just
let them mine gold and record the show as is. Previews for next week show Tony Beets telling Parker that his rent is now 20%
instead of 10%. How can you break a contract in the middle of the season????????

Tony and Parker were practically making out on "The Dirt" then they drop that baloney.

Time to look for another Friday night show to watch as even the Gold clean outs are looking to be scripted.....

I don't watch "the Dirt".

I didn't see the Preview either. but if true I think it's time Parker take the Gold he Has & Run.
Tell beets to pound sand with 0% of 0.

As for Friday Lasts Regular Show, I liked it this week.
I only remembered having to ff through Tony's piece & the commercials.

probably left me about 20 Minutes of Show instead of 5

You ever notice they never use a magnet on the gold to remove all the iron and black sand? I have never seen a magnet used one time on this show, but I have seen people weighing up a conglomeration of gold and trash, as if it were all gold. Now the show Yukon Gold show DOES show magnets being used to clean out piles of gold, and also people melting down their gold and making bars with it....

MY DVR is still set to record GR but every time I go to watch it, I end up doing other things and just deleting the episode. All the fake drama just doesn't interest me. The producers must think the core audience is is teenage girls who thrive on fake, contrived TV drama.

I will say the gold weigh-outs I have seen this year looked pretty dang clean. Go back to Toad's "gold' in the first couple years which always looked to be AT LEAST 50% black sand.

First, maybe second season. Now you don't even see anything behind the scenes of processing the gold.

[edit]Sorry, if you consider heating the gold in a pan "processing", yeah... they show that a llllllllot.

That's a damn shame. :(

Fred hurt was one of the best parts of the show, like him or not. Very sorry to hear about his wife, my best to Fred and Dustin.

Parker was in a jam and looking for unfrozen ground last week. My guess is that he went to Beets seeking some more workable ground, outside of his existing agreement, and Beets said "yeah, I have some" but it will have to be a new contract, or modification to the old one, and the cut will have to be 20% to work the new area. I'm also guessing that if Parker does buy a new claim for next year that it will be one that Beets owned.

That would be the Only way 20% would make sense.

and Your right, I wouldn't be surprised if he buys it from Beets..

But I think he'll buy that $3 Million dollar property.
I still think He had enough Gold when his pap & he was offerd that deal.
but the editors are hiding that fact to add drama.
Make it look like he struck it big in the eleventh hour

add to that, How much is Parkers family/he Really worth ?

Really ?

10 ? 20 ? 30 Mill ?

So did anyone watch? Turns out the deal Parker has with Tony is the cut goes to 20% after Parker hit a certain level. I think it was 1500 ounces, which he hit. Parker is really struggling to find unfrozen ground now.

Tony is now dealing with electrical issues on the dredge and the fact he busted a few things with his slapdash breakdown.

Todd and company scored another 87 ounces and wrecked 2 of 4 trucks in the process. They got one running again but had to disable its back-end drive in the process so it only has front-wheel drive, but at least they have a truck.

That rear housing could have been welded while they were doing all the BS! it would have atleast got them going until the end of the season when they could have gotten the parts in to repair it correctly!
