Found this at Bantam Lake , In Bantam C.T, What is it?

Mandrels are coated with nickel to prevent corrosion from chemicals and prevent rust . Look it up. The one I posted was selling for $30.00 if I remember right.

I personally do not think this is a mandrel or an anode e.c.t and i do not think the item is coated in nickel but thanks for the input!!!

Its hard to predict what someone is willing to pay. Put it on eBay with a reserve and tell the story of Bantam Lake UFO sighting and who knows.... There are several respected members that think it has value over $20. . Im not one of them.

Sounds like a good idea but i do not have a paypal account at this time.......

sorry i did say it was iron/nickel but i forget how i wrote it down iron/nickel,,, or nickel/iron on the post thats all but yes it was tested to be iron nickel!!

I liked that then and will again! JMO In all honesty just put it in the scrap pile go buy a detector and go find some real treasure's mister! HH

It's semi famous now, so it can't be junk. Someone here would probably pay over $20 for it! One mans trash is another mans treasure. Famous junk = treasure in USA!
