Folks,

I thought since a lot of people may be doing the isolation thingy it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a thread where we could share some of our past finds.

I'll get the ball rolling. Sterling silver stamp safe. Bring em on....coins, jewelry, relics, buttons, etc...

trdking -Score!!!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!
I wrote a post when I found it some years ago. The real find with it was a rare Large cent that I sold for over 2K I received the sewing machine in case for free and almost gave it away! Chance would have it I pulled the machine out of the case at the yard sale and peeped inside. I am pretty sure I jumped 4 feet in the air!

I found both of these in the first few months of metal detecting, back in 2013.

The bracelet was found lodged next to a cypress tree in the sand by the river. It's copper and malachite. The copper is very red and thicker in some spots than others. It seems to be old, but I'm not sure.

The bar of metal weighs 16 ounces and tests 50% silver. I've always been curious about it. I wonder what it was for.

Everybody likes Spanish Silver, right?

Larger item on the right appears to be an 1808 Springfield musket trigger guard. Smaller item on left am not able to determine if that is a smaller trigger guard. Nonetheless, a thrilling find and to think it likely saw use in the Revolutionary War.

Here are three of mine Bill..

I have pictured a badge worn by the attendant who managed a swim area in Victoria along with some of the badges,

Then there are the gold coins I found

plus a German Iron Cross found in the Tiny town of Burton.. not a place one would expect to find one of those

Great idea for a thread!

This Hut site was my favorite afternoon spent. Only hut I've ever dug and it was a good one with 249 bullets.

Another fav find was a belt buckle with the remains of a cartridge box and contents.

Sorry if there was too much but couldn't decide which to post. None of my finds have been super great but here's some of my favorites. The Coke can I like as it was I guess the introduction of them using aluminum cans, I like the honeycomb style jar as they aren't super common, a few neat hubcaps I dug, a valve seal to an older car, a mug I dug intact at an old mining camp, and a clasp to an old photo album someone at some point had used as a necklace or bracelet. It being cool as the albums it came from aren't very common. Sorry for the long response but couldn't decide what to post hopefully you guys with like looking at the stuff.

Blak Bart- an AMAZING find!!! WOw!!!
