Roger, nice map, maybe they will try and claim it to.NPView attachment 1204874
Red is stacked stone wall running west , to a Tortuga monument , then a right angle turn running north
pointing you up the ridge .
along the trail are cavings heading you North along the ridge and then West to the Cave
circled in Blue near the word " Mnts ) is the Location of the Treasure Vault
with dead Oryx .
from the alcove in the ridge where the vault is located, looking back south into Soledad Canyon
you can see well , all of the Stone Monuments as pictured in the Map .
it is from this Height and this location , that these Monuments were meant to be seen from .
all of them at once , with exception of the small carvings of Horse shoe and the Butter fly
almost due east of the Vault is the TALL STONE outcrop
due West is the Madonna Carved high in Elephant Butte
South and up into Beasely Canyon , on the east wall can be viewed carvings that lead you
to The Silver Mines high up in the peaks of the South Wall of Soledad Canyon .
Hey Roger,
What year did the Garcias rebury Rascione?
