DO TREASURES HAVE REAL SPIRITS

Just a couple of things. First, Mastiff4me, the first PM was before I knew of your accident. The second one (reply) was sent before I wished you a quick and full recovery. You're in my prayers. Second, I had to come forward a few months to say something about 'dowsing'. (I'm only on page 30 of the thread.) I have used it quite a bit since the first time I saw a man locate a water line where I was about to dig a hole. He had 2 pieces of #12 solid copper wire bent into a 'L' shape. I have used just about every kind of wire that I had at the moment. Seemingly, to me, for me, the best is a couple of brazing rods. I've used them to find all kinds of things. I've never tried to find 'treasure' with them. The most important thing I've used them for I guess, was to find the size of an underground gasoline storage tank at a service station. A couple had bought the station which had been closed for several years and had no idea as to the size of the tanks. Normally, there are charts at the stations showing the size and capacity of the tanks and the amount of products that is in the tanks according to the depth of liquid in inches. I took a couple of brazing rods and found the ends and sides of the tanks, then used a 'gauge' (measuring) stick to get the depth of the tank. As for who can and who can not do this type of dowsing, I have yet to see anyone who can not do it. I had mentally challenged daughter who could do it as well as my wife, other daughter, and son. My son-in-law has no problem doing it either. Kinda hard to stay back in the thread when there is so much I want to say! I really didn't intend to come forward again until I had finished the thread, but --we'll see, maybe I can finish it before temptation overcomes me again! lol
Oh, I just wanted you to know I am ALL better, post-accident. One for the history book. I am in my new chapter now. So nice that we can 'close' old chapters anytime we want, eh? They are all important pieces; the good, the bad, the ugly and even totaled ones that end up in the junkyard as scrap metal. ;)

Yes I am convinced. In the case of the Tayopa from the start i am convinced that an unseen power has chosen me to uncover it.

Those that know me, the Indians, say that I am a reincarnet Jesuit Oro will love that !

From the very start with Yeager's bell 'Gudalupe de Tayopa' on. I knew tht Tayopa was not a fiction but real. Whenever I became stuck with nowhere to turn an additional clue would be presented and I could go on for a bit, even money when it ran out, would be provided, but only enough to cover the problem, never an excess - reminds me of the individual Jesuit vow of poverty ????.

In essence I believe that I was only a tool. Yes, you can say that I believe in them,

Don Jose de La Mancha

This too, is one of the most intriguing posts on the Thread.
We may read of this Treasure Hunter, and other acquaintances
he may have had, one day. I think for sure, there must still be
some secret hidden stories, that won't give too much of any
significant clue details away.

The music has been, and is really nice in here
What a good variety, Thanks to everyone, for sharing
your tasteful selections... Have a great day! ... :cross:

Hey, Tex. that was strange you sent that because I have been researching a great del in regards to dowsing. Huh? Good topic. Last year I asked around about purchasing some sort of deep-seeking electromagnetic detection system. The technology is awesome, but the price (and typical user size) is just to much for me. I did see one fairly small hand held/single user device that I liked, but again, $$$. So, the best answer I got from the most seasoned of seekers, was, in fact, dowsing. I am interested to know more!!! I know Don Jose' is a fan. He explained it to me last year, both scientifically and non-scientifically. :) The magnetic part really stood out, as well as good old fashioned intuition. Each made sense to me. Generation radar still intrigues me, too. Maybe after I stumble upon something Blackbeard accidentally left behind??? ;)

Glad to see this brought up, I got my boots on, got
some copper, this being a TH'ers Major Issue, Mine opinion... :cross:

I know everybody is telling/asking/discussing dowsing right now, but I need to interject something that's really hit me like a ton of bricks!

I just read Crosse de Sign's story of Jesse James visiting his family. His story seems to coincide with what I've been told about the gold coins being left under their plates.

My grandparents lived in Missouri in the late 1800s. I don't know just what year they left and moved to Texas, but I supposedly know why.
I have two cousins who are just over 86 years old. The oldest lives in the same house where I was born in 1942; but is almost an invalid. She and her parents bought the house not long before I was born. The house is in a little town in Central Texas whose population when I was growing up, has been anywhere from just less that 6000 to just over 9000. I believe it was about 4500 when I was born. About 6 miles from this town is another 'town', more a community. My parents lived 3.5 miles from this community. The roads from the community to my parents home was just red clay/sand. The year had been quite rainy and my parents stayed with my cousin and her parents ( the mother was my dad's sis) for about 3 or 4 days before I was born.
The other 86 years old cousin is still active and lives in the same town. She spends a lot of her time working in the gift shop at the local hospital, and the old county jail, which is now a museum. She has been working on the family history/genealogy for a number of years. In 1999, she told me the reason that my grandparents left Missouri and came to Texas. Frank and Jesse James came their place several times. My grandparents evidently knew who they were, though there was no kinship. My grandma would feed them while they were there visiting. After they left, each time there would be coin under each plate. I don't know if it was a gold coin or not, but the cousin just said a 'silver dollar'. After a few of these visits, the local started questioning my grandparents about the visits. They became afraid that there would be trouble and moved to Texas. As I stated, I don't know what year, but my dad was born in 1900 in Texas. He had a brother about a year or so older that was also born in Texas. I wish I had known about this before they passed away and could have asked them about it!
Ok, back to where I left off on the thread. lol

REB, dowsing is perfectly normal, but we have been conditioned to think of it as bad or imply that it is a fantasy. Dowsing doesn't care what you use, if you have faith, you will have positive results, Actually you can dowse with your open palm or your mind. alone. Faith is yourself !!! Don't get involved in some of the weird shibboloths that havs arisen on dowsing.

OK! I just finished reading the last page of this thread. Yes, all 69 pages. I may not remember all that I've read, but I have actually read every page.

Before I try to post any more stories, I'd like to say that anything I post will, to the best of my knowledge, be truthful. If anybody has any questions as to the truthfulness of anything I say, please let me know. I am a Christian, raised by Christian parents, and although I 'went astray' in my youth, I am trying to live a life that will be accounted 'worthy' when I am judged on Judgment Day. I'm 72 years old and know that my time is short. I am trying every day to be a better Christian than I was the day before.

It's late enough that I will not try to tell anything tonight. Tomorrow I will start telling what few stories I have.

I have greatly enjoyed this thread. I feel a 'connection' with everyone of you. I can not say what kind of encounters that I have had with spirits, but I'm sure there have been occurrences. I have not witnessed seeing an actually 'ghost'. Most of my stories will be of family members who have had experiences with things that can not be explained. Some have been determined by the family to be 'warnings' of things to come; others are just unexplainable.

Have a great nights sleep, pleasant dreams, and hopefully I'll be back tomorrow to tell a story or two.

Hope you, and everyone, sleeps
real good, pleasant dreams... :cross:

Keys...keys. Check the last place you left them.:laughing7:

When my mom's only brother married, he moved into a second story apartment. At the top of the stairs was a 'landing' that was about 8' x 10'. From the landing, a hallway went to the different apartments. Uncle 'H' and his wife were in the first apartment when you got to the top of the stairs and crossed the landing. On this landing, was a rocking chair. Some nights 'H' and his wife would awaken to the sound of that chair rocking. He said he opened the door many times to find no one around, but the chair would be rocking. He had lifted the chair and inspected it for wires/strings that could be used to make it rock. Nothing. It wasn't always at night when it rocked. Sometime they would start to leave the apartment and find the chair rocking when they opened the door. Yes, others in the other apartments had seen it also. As soon as anyone saw it, it would slowly come to a stop. The chair was moved from the corner that it normally sat in, to the corner on the other side of the landing. It still rocked! 'H' just knew that someone was 'messing' with the people who lived in the upstairs apartments and kept trying to find how it was being done and by whom. Nope, never ever found out any cause for that chair to just be sitting there rocking by itself. If anybody ever found and answer to the mystery, I never heard about it. I talked to the uncle and aunt about it several years after they had moved. He had not heard any more about it.
