Dent's Run News: Geophysical Survey Released After Lawsuit

The video posted and two or three others are done by a fellow on YouTube, State Treasures. He takes a fact-based look at the finders claims that even the finder cannot deny. Hard to argue with the facts and documents State Treasures shows, that tell the truth.
I know we can go searching for these videos. But it's hard when you drink the FB tea.
So I had an idea that you could give a link to these videos on YouTube.

Pisser on this one is the author stating the F.B.I. alleges gold there.
(As if they dragged the Prada's in instead of the other way around.)
Who convinced whom a dig was needed?
Let's not ignore what was happening WITHOUT the F.B.I. being involved prior.
That wasn't exactly tea with the local residents, or the law.

I would, but don't want to break any rules or have the thread locked or deleted. Seems a lot of what I and others have posted in other threads on this topic disappeared as there was a Mod who proclaimed there will be no debate or nay-sayers allowed in threads on this story, till the FBI proves its innocence beyond a reasonable doubt in court. Trying to play by his rules here.

The picture underneath your above comment with the text, "Did the FBI find gold here" doesn't look like there has been a significant excavation around that rock for decades, if ever. And I'm not talking about the scattered leaves and tree limbs/trunks. It doesn't even look like a crowd of people stood around in that area, much less any heavy equipment or even any manual, old school shoveling. If the FBI did find gold there I'd say is was sitting on top of the ground, in plain sight under that rock. Five teenagers hanging out and drinking beer there one night would have left more evidence of human activity.

Who convinced whom a dig was needed?
It's clearly stated in the record. The FK group approached the investigators. The investigators acted on probable cause. Anyone suggesting that law enforcement involved in an investigation to unearth something must prove their innocence in a court of law, when nothing is unearthed, is misguided. Innocence from what? The current court case has nothing to do with innocence or guilt of anything, it is a lawsuit over a freedom of information request for records.

I had posted these photos before. We went to the dig site and just missed the FBI leaving by several hours. There wasn't any activity under the rock, but there were foot print along side the rock. I live close enough by Dents Run and have heard the legend for years. There never was any gold there.

Question...Since the witnesses that were on-site during the excavation event confirmed there were a few armored trucks there, does the State of Pennsylvania require the trucks to enter a weigh station if they traveled on a PA Interstate?

How Much Does an Armored Truck Weigh?

Depending on the type and size of the truck, an armored truck can weigh anywhere from 55,000 pounds to over 27 tons. These massive vehicles are a little smaller than a humpback whale, but their weight is comparable to that of the largest U.S. military cargo helicopters. These vehicles are designed for the ultimate in protection and are often weighed down by a variety of materials, including gold, silver, and platinum.

FB tea = Facebook tea meaning I don't subscribe to Facebook.

Are these 2 videos from the Facebook posts?

Okay, thanks for the reply.
yes I now refreshed the memory that this very reason that one has to tread lightly on thin ice when discussing the subject.

The current court case has nothing to do with innocence or guilt of anything, it is a lawsuit over a freedom of information request for records.
I'm just giving a layman's thought on your comment.

If in fact the lawsuit is for that reason (Just saying I haven't had the chance to read the suit) it would then set a president for other cases.

It would be used as a case of law in every case that the "Freedom of Information" request was filed and denied.
This is would seem to be a very important ruling that could potentially be very detrimental to many cases that the records have been sealed.

(Now this pure speculation on my part.
So I am not stating that this the very reason)

If the ruling was to deny the plaintiff it would then be the grounds for the plaintiff to keep the story going.

"See the FBI has something to hide if they didn't find anything they would of released the records."
"We won!-Proof that the gold was taken"

I didn't study timeline including date of the video. It's post F.B.I. presence during their dig I'm thinking.
And one year (fall leaf drop) can hide a lot of sins on the forest floor. Besides an operator of the hoe being able to level after backfilling , their were folks with rakes involved.
(No I'm not stating anyone actually raked anything. But rakes were at least leaned on.)

The dig wasn't in the cave.
Early accounts by the party that got the F.B.I. involved , made the cave seem underwater.
(Thier account camera on cable sent into cave to take pictures for example , and the pictures. )

I am FAR from being a EXPERT on research. Twenty Five years ago we started taking some of our horses over near Dents Run and doling a lot of Trail riding there. A friend over there gave me a folder of the lost gold there to take home and copy. Which i did and then returned them. We rode ALL over there but being inexprenced we did not know what to look for. So one day I started doing some research on this treasure or rumor.
I started with the OR's (Offical Records of the civil war) I could find no evidence . Now mind you i am NO EXPERT at research. But if i could find nothing about that shipment I kind of gave up.

Yes I was aware of how the F.B.I. became involved in a dig.
It took some degree of convincing.
I don't speak for them but doubt they are overly proud of the decision to dig.

F.O.I. argument in my non treasure digging case concerning a case of mine resulted in such heavily redacted data it was pretty much worthless.
I expect no less in this case.

Blacked out word followed by , was seen in earth. The plaintiffs would lose their minds.
Or the word gold and everything else blacked out. Oh yes. That would have to mean the agency absconded with tons and tons and tons!

So why the insistence that an F.O.I. dump of data is going to do anything to prove the F.B.I. ran off with tons of gold?
I don't grasp how a heavy armored vehicle didn't sink out of sight there!
Was it on tracks? Two foot wide tires?
No and no.
Where would a truck be loaded in secret then? Two guys with arms bigger than there legs or something? Plus twenty more to push the truck out of the sand?
Gee I'll bet there's all kinds of pictures from the witnesses that declared overloaded truck?
If there isn't one what does that mean?

What if someone wanted a bunch of decorative rock at headquarters after the digging turned up no gold and had an empty truck on hand?
Oh boy what a scandal!

witnesses that were on-site during the excavation event confirmed there were a few armored trucks there,
Eyewitnesses have described seeing "armored trucks" in the area. Quite frankly, you would expect that anyone expecting they might find a large cache would be prepared and have trucks available if needed. However, we learn from the Plaintiffs own interviews with eyewitnesses that these vehicles were described as Lenco Bearcat types. The same type of law enforcement, SWAT vehicles utilized in municipalities throughout the US to transport officers.

The records released to the Plaintiffs included detailed site logs of the people coming and going from the site. There are records and images depicting the numerous agents who participated. However, images of the road at basecamp show only a few vehicles. It is believed that the Lenco Bearcats were simply shuttling the numerous agents to and from the Hotel in Dubois as the limited space at the site could not accommodate every agent's vehicle. An operational plan provided as a part of the record also details the times at which the agents would meet for the shuttle at the hotel and what time investigation activities would end at the site.

To my knowledge, nobody has ever found proof of this shipment. It is probably why the original folklore tale was then muddied with assertions that the KGC was using Dents Run as a depository.
